I'm anticipating travel restrictions, hospitality closures and certainly cancelling our October half term holiday

Isn't it the 3 tier system across the country with Liverpool in top tier - that seems to have been heavily trailed in the media today.

They're not going to cancel half term break with just a couple of weeks notice. Think of the logistics 🙄

The pp suggested she would need to cancel her half term break. I took that to mean cancelling a holiday she had booked rather than half term being cancelled.

For England a Tier 3 lockdown for Tyne and Wear, West Yorkshire (maybe South Yorks as well), Merseyside, Greater Manchester (and parts of Lancashire). The West and East Midlands. Which is all the metropolitan counties, with bits of their neighbours added on I suppose. A lot of people

I'd expect them to try and impose further restrictions on our social contact in local areas before doing anything nationwide.

Explaining the new 3 tier system and further restrictions esp for those areas in levels 2 and 3. Possible extending where masks are needed.

Introduction of the three tier system seems to be the best bet. It will probably means that those areas with high infection will be locked down. I'm sure someone will be along soon with more details.

Probably a new slogan of some sort.

Im in South Yorkshire - Sheffield & expecting 3 tier lockdown as we are a hot spot and cases are rising uncontrollably.

What will tomorrow's announcement be?
