How many people have you had in your house since we can?

We haven't had anyone into our house yet but have had family in our garden. My neighbour on the other hand has a steady stream of people every day. Different people usually with little children in tow. I know it’s not against the rules, but to me if this usual behaviour for most I’m not sure why masks or school bubbles will make a difference?

Not a soul!

yearinyearout · 15/07/2020 10:26

None. Dm came marching in the other day and I turfed her out into the garden. While the weather is dry I can't see the point in taking the extra risk of being indoors.

Waxonwaxoff0 · 15/07/2020 10:27

My mum and my stepdad but that's it. I've been in the process of moving house during lockdown though so I haven't had much opportunity to host yet.

juneybean · 15/07/2020 10:29

2 - my mum for my birthday, and my colleague dropped off a present yesterday but only came in the kitchen.

KetoWinnie · 15/07/2020 10:29

nobody! I feel a bit friendless. But not depressed.

MereDintofPandiculation · 15/07/2020 10:34

None

muststopeatingfroyo · 15/07/2020 10:38

The midwife, the doula, a couple of workmen and the cleaner. Family have been consigned to the garden though Grin

Sidewinder30 · 15/07/2020 10:39

I meet people outside the house. I wouldn't want anyone else in my safespace right now. I may feel differently come winter when picnics and parks aren't an option!

juneisbustingout · 15/07/2020 10:41

A plumber, parents briefly, a neighbour desperate for the toilet and four removal men

vodkaredbullgirl · 15/07/2020 10:42

None, family live far away. Only friends are work collegues.

BigSandyBalls2015 · 15/07/2020 10:44

I haven't but my teens have had friends indoors. I've had a couple of people in the garden, and they have used my loo briefly.

BigSandyBalls2015 · 15/07/2020 10:44

oh and a couple of workmen

Destroyedpeople · 15/07/2020 10:45

So the 'rules' on this have been relaxed yet people are still writing posts complaining about their neighbours....
Ffs.

AriettyHomily · 15/07/2020 10:46

None, but we've had decent weather so have had family in the garden, we wouldn't have been inside anyway. They have been in to use the loo.

LittenKitten · 15/07/2020 10:47

2 workmen (2 different jobs)

MIL and FIL for a cup of tea (first time we’d seen them since Christmas)

Probably have my parents over soon, we have been to their house a couple of times now

iVampire · 15/07/2020 10:48

None, because shielding has not yet paused

Pelleas · 15/07/2020 10:48

But then I hardly ever have people in my house even in normal times.

Branleuse · 15/07/2020 10:49
  1. Ive had someone to replace my cooker. My mum, my stepdad, my best friend and ive had my cleaner and her ex husband helped last week.
Actually 7, because my friends brother came in to use the loo when he was doing some gardening for me.

We have all kept our distance from each other, but theyve been in the house

Chasingsquirrels · 15/07/2020 10:51

Bloke I'm seeing (who I bubbled with as both single adult households), my mum & dad and teen ds1's girlfriend.

Have met friends but outside for walks etc.

passthemustard · 15/07/2020 10:59

My DDs boyfriend came for a bbq at the weekend. That's it.

Iwalkinmyclothing · 15/07/2020 11:04

The only person other than us who has been in our house since lockdown started in March is the BT Openreach man who came to finally fix the internet in mid June. I'd be happy for my brother and SIL and nephew to come in but they aren't ready. At this stage, if you want to come in to my house I'm not going to stop you, but neither am I going to go out of my way to invite anyone.

LadyPenelope68 · 15/07/2020 11:04

Nobody and don’t intend to for a while.

notacooldad · 15/07/2020 11:05

Just my son.

MargotB7 · 15/07/2020 11:08

The answers are mostly going to be one sided with people saying none or hardly any even if we are allowed. I remember the post early on asking how many times you went to the shop.

AudacityOfHope · 15/07/2020 11:09

Plumber
