another week another argument with OH he’s determined to bring the kids to his mums tomorrow they’ve organised it behind my back he’s just said to me now I’m going to pop over my mums with the kids tomorrow.

I feel like I’m being controlling but then my mum hasn’t seen the kids either. What are others doing?

Purplegorilla · 12/05/2020 19:46

Nope, regardless of what the govt. May decide I wouldnt do yet, ita far too risky

Ineverdidmind · 12/05/2020 19:46

Nope.

Joffrey · 12/05/2020 19:46

We haven't seen any family.

But I am meeting my mum one on one outdoors on Friday per the new guidelines, but not taking DS.

Sparklingbrook · 12/05/2020 19:47

No, just dropping shopping off at a distance, quick shout and wave. Facetime for everything else.

nolovelost · 12/05/2020 19:48

No!

Nixen · 12/05/2020 19:48

Nope, cos I’m not a dick

Whitestick · 12/05/2020 19:48

No.
I'm not in England, but isn't that still against the English guidelines?

IsntThatYourThirdPlate · 12/05/2020 19:48

I don’t understand why he’s so eager his mum is still seeing her other grandkids they can bloody wait. I’ve also got a blood disorder so I’m in the vulnerable category. Every week I’m having to argue with him.

No, but I am meeting MIL for a socially distant walk on Friday with my 19 month old.

Lemonnhoney · 12/05/2020 19:48

Yes I have seen family outside and will do tomorrow.

Isadora2007 · 12/05/2020 19:48

Yep. Have been for weeks.

Dowser · 12/05/2020 19:49

Well it’s pretty obvious that the people who have aren’t going to say so

firstimemamma · 12/05/2020 19:49

No.

Yanbu!

Dowser · 12/05/2020 19:49

Ah, two have owned up..and I’m the third

HollyBollyBooBoo · 12/05/2020 19:50

Yep saw my Mum today in her garden. Stayed apart though.

YerAWizardHarry · 12/05/2020 19:50

It's my birthday on Friday and will likely be the first time I'll ever have spent with without my twin sister. Seriously thinking about breaking the rules but I know its for the best we don't meet up.

Elouera · 12/05/2020 19:52

NO! I even felt guilting going out twice in 1 day- the 2nd time being for a medical need, but not, we have stuck to the rules and not rushing out anywhere. There are still 4000 new cases A DAY, and 600+ deaths A DAY, so NO.

IsntThatYourThirdPlate · 12/05/2020 19:52

All his family are breaking the rules And no one has got sick so he thinks it’s fine to go ahead.

babydogandi · 12/05/2020 19:52

Nope. The most we might do is drop some bits and pieces off to my DM and take DS to wave from the car. That's it though

P0lka · 12/05/2020 19:53

Yes. They've all had it (test confirmed) so I don't see the harm in it, though we are staying apart etc.

Yankathebear · 12/05/2020 19:53

No. Not even my children. Don’t be dicks.
