What will be the new Loo roll sell out?

After loo roll sell out came cleaning products and now bikes, cycle shops are selling entire stock of bikes and up to 50 bikes a day rather than 30 bikes a week.

So what will be the next hot product?

I think it could be tents and camping equipment as people decide to stay in UK for cheap holidays away

IHaveBrilloHair · 12/05/2020 12:34

Paddling pools, garden furniture.

Elastic for making face masks is already very difficult to find.

Cuddling57 · 12/05/2020 12:42

Hair dye?!

Poppyismyfavourite · 12/05/2020 12:46

Exercise equipment, toys, technology (entertaining kids and for working from home)

Although I think those are all doing a roaring trade already...

I've been having shopping delivered or click and collect but today had to go round to surgery to see GP and decided to be a devil and pop into little shop. I haven't been able to get caster sugar with my deliveries but the shop had one little bag left, it was leaking but I was pleased to get it. Flour is also hard to get so maybe it will be anything baking related?

Poppyismyfavourite · 12/05/2020 12:49

Next wave I reckon will be stuff that people need every few months...
home dentistry? Tooth whitening kits etc
Children's clothes - fabric, patterns, sewing machines
Pet grooming

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 12/05/2020 12:50

Sewing machines.
DH ordered one yesterday, and it has a six week delivery estimate.

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 12/05/2020 12:51

Flour stocks improving now after being absent for a few weeks- mills reported it was a bag shortage rather than the actual flour.

SecondStarFromTheRight · 12/05/2020 12:51

Compost and other garden items

imsooverthisdrama · 12/05/2020 12:52

It's very hard to exercise equipment, like kettlebell etc.

MyMagicStars · 12/05/2020 12:53

Hair dye.
Dental filler is already hard to find.
Tennis balls and garden footballs.

Mawbags · 12/05/2020 13:30

Children’s clothes!!

MinkowskisButterfly · 12/05/2020 13:36

Trampolines - apparently they are selling like hot cakes!

LooksBetterWithAFilter · 12/05/2020 13:37

I work in a pharmacy and we can’t replace hair dye and we can’t get in any dental repair kits.
People have not started buying hair dressing scissors and looking for clippers.
Like a pp friends are looking for a hot tub can’t get one. And garden furniture and gazebos are going out of stock. People are clearly preparing for a summer at home.

TeapotCollection · 12/05/2020 13:42

Hair cutting kits

Dontlickthetrolley · 12/05/2020 13:47

Trampolines are our local issue!

PeartreeProductions · 12/05/2020 13:47
