What will be the new Loo roll sell out?

After loo roll sell out came cleaning products and now bikes, cycle shops are selling entire stock of bikes and up to 50 bikes a day rather than 30 bikes a week.

So what will be the next hot product?

I think it could be tents and camping equipment as people decide to stay in UK for cheap holidays away

Coffins?

Fabuleuse · 12/05/2020 13:50

Dried yeast is still impossible to get in supermarkets here since lockdown.

Eminybob · 12/05/2020 13:52

I’ve been trying to buy a Nintendo Switch for weeks now but they are out of stock everywhere.

Ditto printers. Could do with one to print out ds’s school work but all the decent price ones are out of stock. Having to email everything to dh to print out at work.

Fans, if we have a hot summer

It's black ink now.

felineflutter · 12/05/2020 14:07

Puppies or any dogs. They are double the price and mostly impossible to buy now.

LeggyLinda · 12/05/2020 14:07

Yoghurt (in fact most dairy products) have been difficult to get the last few days.

PicsInRed · 12/05/2020 14:08

As it becomes uneconomic to oil sellers and refiners, petrol and diesel.

Freeekedout · 12/05/2020 14:11

Hats... to cover up lack of hair cuts!

AuntieStella · 12/05/2020 14:13

Marmite seems to be sold out in a number of places.

I'm wondering if novice bakers have tried to replace yeast with yeast extract?

Also selling well: home exercise equipment, garden games, dental repair kits and oil of cloves, traditional board games (and build your own patio kits?)

chunkyrun · 12/05/2020 14:14

I've not been able to get a child's bike seat for weeks

bumblenbean · 12/05/2020 14:17

As soon as the antibody test becomes available in shops/ online it will surely be constantly out of stock.

The hair dye situation is disturbing - it appears I have more stray greys than I realised ...

YgritteSnow · 12/05/2020 14:18

Office chairs and Treadmills.

Both items I have looked for this week. Office chairs in particular are hard to find unless you want to pay a fortune, which I do not!

MigGril · 12/05/2020 14:21

Elastic, I've used up what little I had, any left they are try to sell at stupid prices. Same with compost unless you've got a local supermarket selling it, that's been difficult to get hold of.
Still haven't been able to get yeast, but have managed to order some online as we have to make our own bread due to dietary requirements.

Children’s foot measures!

My DS is on the verge of walking and obviously has no shoes yet. No idea what the hell I’m meant to do about it.

Bashitcrazy · 12/05/2020 14:24

Portable toilets, camping equipment

IfNotNowThenWhenever · 12/05/2020 14:24

Try Facebook marketplace for office chairs.

LookStupidInEverything · 12/05/2020 14:28

I can’t get vanilla essence anywhere which is annoying. I’m sure it wasn’t sold out before I needed it

timeforawine · 12/05/2020 14:28

i'm still after a bloody trampoline!!

TawnyPippit · 12/05/2020 14:38

I was surprised at how difficult it was to find cocktail glasses!

MoanyAnna · 12/05/2020 14:38

@Eminybob I got a really nice one for less than £90 last week direct from Hewlett Packard. Next day delivery! It has a great deal on subscription ink as well.

There could well be a national shortage of antidepressants and anti anxiety medications.
