Competitive staying home

Have you stayed at home for 5 million years? Have you only left the house to shop for an elderly ladies milk but posted it all over social media? Did you shame your neighbour because their daughter visited them despite being their carer? Did you post abuse because one of your neighbours didn’t clap/stand silent/launch fireworks at the appointed time?

Now,now... don't kink shame

Fair point

LilacTree1 · 01/05/2020 22:14

pigeon you are a star! 💫

RufustheLanglovingreindeer · 01/05/2020 22:15

Stars for everyone 🌟✨⭐️💫

Kortnee · 01/05/2020 22:17

Do I have to stick the star up my arse or is that optional?

Thepigeonsarecoming · 01/05/2020 22:18

@PrincessConsueIaBananaHammock

don't kink shame 😂

Yep we’re all against shaming here! If someone wants a star up their arse then it’s their choice, although it does sound a bit dangerous and could put pressure on the NHS if too many people try it. Maybe delay it until after lockdown? Essential stuff and all that 😂

PhoebeBear - are you posting or is someone posting for you?

No one said you're not clapping, recently I read about a bunch of horrible hate breeders bringing down a single mum for not clapping because she was tired.

This is exactly what the OP was talking about, so it seems that you are actually on the same page.

I hope you are alright - lockdown is hard especially with very small child(ren) and moreso if one is keeping you up in the night. You can go out - I have seen lots of people pushing prams, especially if it is somewhere quiet. I understand that for you it is compounded by what family are telling you, but I am not sure that this is particularly helpful, we are pretty fragile when we have a tiny baby and this is adding to everything. Not seeing the family is shit, I get that, I really do, but you can't control what others do. We will come through this, - do you have a partner around? If so can they look after the baby whilst you go alone for a walk if you don't want to take the baby out.

Take care, you have unfortunately taken this thread a little too much to heart (it happens). I hope you get a good night sleep though cries at the memories of sleepless nights

RufustheLanglovingreindeer · 01/05/2020 22:18

Its optional kortnee

😀

RufustheLanglovingreindeer · 01/05/2020 22:20

Well Trump did say that an internal bright light might fight the virus. Maybe she's on to something.

PrincessConsueIaBananaHammock · 01/05/2020 22:23

Fuck this is not good.

walkingchuckydoll · 01/05/2020 22:23

Have you stayed at home for 5 million years?

Yes but it helps that I'm quite vulnerable so scared enought to do so. It also helps that I live in a large detached house with a big garden. So I can easily spend my day outdoors pottering around. It might have been different if we still lived in our tiny one bed city flat with miniature balcony.

RufustheLanglovingreindeer · 01/05/2020 22:24

Oh so was phoebe here earlier?

And now youve taken over?

Kortnee · 01/05/2020 22:24

Dude, you need to chill.

RufustheLanglovingreindeer · 01/05/2020 22:24

I agree princess

Not good at all

RufustheLanglovingreindeer · 01/05/2020 22:26

Would explain the irrationality of the last few posts

And the Fixation with football...and some of the more misogynistic comments

LilacTree1 · 01/05/2020 22:26

Kortnee “ I personally haven't left the house since the beginning of may and have begun sewing my children new clothes from all the toilet paper I hoarded”

That’s not impressive. I thought you’d say you made them new clothes from the cardboard tube. 😂

RufustheLanglovingreindeer · 01/05/2020 22:27

Well this thread is going to be deleted!

RufustheLanglovingreindeer · 01/05/2020 22:28

Oh good

Maybe just some of pretend phoebe comments will be deleted

Hope phoebe is ok

RufustheLanglovingreindeer · 01/05/2020 22:28

The real one obviously

Kortnee · 01/05/2020 22:29

@LilacTree1 The tubes will be fashioned into a telescope I can use to monitor the neighbours movements. I have begun to train the pigeons in the back garden to fetch any shopping I need.

LilacTree1 · 01/05/2020 22:29

I reported pretend Phoebe a minute ago - great work MNHQ.

LilacTree1 · 01/05/2020 22:30

Kortnee okay, but instead of wasting loo roll you could have at least made some clothes from sourdough starter.

PrincessConsueIaBananaHammock · 01/05/2020 22:31

So did I, hopefully MNHQ can have a look behind the scenes. The thread moved from eye rolling to worrying pretty quickly. Just hope that poster is ok.
