I’ve read enough of this thread to make an informed opinion. Always good not to make a hasty judgement I say. I’ve enjoyed the wit and humour but it’s only possible to bask in the act of rebellion when all those around you are bovinely complying. Without the frothing herd around you, you (and all the rest of us) would possibly be in a worse place. Everyone cannot be the exception. Not even The Boris managed that.

If you've read the thread you'll see none of us are rebelling. No hugging no having bbqs with a garden full of family. Perhaps occasionally plonking our bums on the grass for a rest. But other than that I think we're all quite well behaved. More well behaved than Neil Ferguson.

I dont recall coming on this thread because I thought it would make me cool. I came here as respite from all the vitriol going on elsewhere.

I'm planning to kill my entire street today - I baked cakes last night and will be off to deliver them to my neighbours later today, although I may have to throw them to them from the socially acceptable distance of the end of their driveways

I suspect i may up my kill count substantially today - I will be ignoring my family Zoom picnic (to be fair my wifi isn't up to it!) to go out on my bike then washing my car before heading to the shops to buy unnecessary clotted cream (unless we are Allowed to make unnecessary purchases if its to do with VE Day?) before making scones and cakes for our VE Day BBQ in our back garden 😁.

All all this with a Sore Throat - its my body's response to the extreme stress I've been under for 3 months but that won't stop frothers telling me I should be isolating/testing/wearing a mask 24/7!!

If anyone has kidnapped Chris Hemsworth let me know otherwise my daughter and I will nab him and keep him safe for the duration 😊

Oh, I missed all the fun last night didnt I. I was so excited to read I am now part of the rule breaking, bike shed smoking rebellion gang. I was such a dgoody two shoes at school, never smoked, never even tried drugs etc.....but then I remembered I'm not actually breaking any real rules oh well, guess I must try harder!

The "frothing" is causing a lot of harm to people. I spoke with a patient on the phone this wee (yes, Im an NHS clinician) She already struggled with anxiety. She was in floods of tears , she had no food in her house and was too scared to go out - why? Not because she was scared of catching the virus but because she was scared of "doing something wrong" and people having a go at her. There are so many bloody ridiculous made up rules and people being vile to their fellow human beings that this poor person was too scared to leave her house for food. Lots and lots of people are being extremely negatively effected by the frothing. So yes, brilliant you carry on and froth away and maintain your moral high ground if it makes you feel better but do NOT kid yourself you are in any way improving people's lives, because you are not.

right... a nice chilled day here is called for I think. Some garden pottering. Might go and purchase some new plants (from an alloweed to be open shop - but no doubt breaking ROOLZ and killing thousands) will take my AK47 with me just in case

@Maxandezra I have been told on a thread that too many people are mentally weak and fragile if people's mental health is going down already.

Dad works in fge local mental health unit. Several units some secure, one maximum security etc.

They are receiving calls from familys of past patients looking for help. Quite a few new arrivals, as people have become so ill and scared to seek help its escalated to needing to be sectioned. My auntie works in NHS mental health. Its not a walk in service but people are walking in begging for help

Apparently, the fact that they cant cope with an easy lock down means they are weak.

Completely missing the fact that lockdown isn't the only thing causing people more stress and worry. It's an endless list. And the frothers are just adding to that.

So many people do not think about people's mental health before they spread total bollocks. They spread it and then blames others for being weak. Its disgusting.
