Thread number...4?!? Fucking hell I've never been so popular.

Keep on keeping on and ,moan, whinge and laugh while you enjoy your deliveries and cackle evilly while you kill thousands.

All under the benevolent eye of your awesome , yellow and very ripe leader.

May the bleach be with you.

Dammit i meant Shits sorry.

PrincessConsueIaBananaHammock · 26/04/2020 13:00

shits sorry things went wrong, but it's good you could talk. I do think it's the lockdown.

It's hard when you just want to be and others are just jumping around like overexcited puppies wanting you to do things.

In normal times I assume you'd get some time to yourself or at least less pressure to "perform".

With work being what it is and everything going on you have quite a bit on your plate, which is why being alone and not having someone else to consider or keep happy or whatever seems quite attractive.

You can get these flowers which come in a box which is posted in the letterbox if you wanted to avoid the potential death threat of contact with a flower delivery person Max I used these before in the past and were quite nice, can't remember the name though.

BamboozledandBefuddled · 26/04/2020 13:03

I don't want to worry you Willow but my soddingfuckingbastardtooth fell to bits while I was brushing it. Going shopping for disinfecting alcohol tomorrow and will look for oil of cloves - I'd completely forgotten that so thanks for the suggestions.

Orangeblossom78 · 26/04/2020 13:05

Nah, tween DC back to staring for hours into their screens in their vampire like rooms here - packing up for a picnic now, bean toasties in foil to keep them hot Smile

LilacTree1 · 26/04/2020 13:13

Bamboozled- so what’s left?

Also try Orajel, it’s got novacaine or similar in it.

BamboozledandBefuddled · 26/04/2020 13:31

Thanks Lilac I've added that to the list and also added Anbesol which I found very good in the past. The pain is only a niggle at present but there's no point in denying that I'm terrified of infection. I'm not classed as an emergency at present and I don't want to be but I can't help worrying. Dental problems were the one thing I was really dreading during lockdown - far more so than getting CV.

CrowCat · 26/04/2020 13:44

@BamboozledandBefuddled I started with awful toothache last week because I broke my fecking wisdom tooth last month and he dentist are closed. Ended up in such a panic I called my doc and said I thought I had an ear infection - pain was so bad I couldn't sleep and I was worried about infection - and she sent a prescription for antibiotics to my chemist. They're making me feel rough but at least I know they're handling any infection. I'm using super strong mouthwash too and getting a temporary filling kit next time I'm in Boots. Needs must at the minute!! I hope you manage to keep the pain at bay and perhaps a quick call to your GP quoting ear infection would at least mean you might get prescribed some antibiotics to keep at hand if it gets bad.

Migraine is at 100% today so no killing sprees for me. Just sofa and Netflix.

@Shits I'm sorry your birthday was naff but glad you managed to talk to your DP. I've sent a couple of hexes his way, nothing too drastic just perpetual wedgies and an itchy bum hole. Hope that's ok Grin

PrincessConsueIaBananaHammock · 26/04/2020 13:50

Abnesol is great!

OH did buy Anusol once instead(familiar with having to buy it, saw sol at the end, filled the blanks in ). Grin

BamboozledandBefuddled · 26/04/2020 13:52

@CrowCat That's genius! I have a history of sinus infections and in the last couple of years that's led to ear infections a couple of times. I can describe the symptoms perfectly so I'll ring the surgery tomorrow. I honestly will feel happier if I've got ABs in the house in case I need them. Thanks so much - have some Wine

CrowCat · 26/04/2020 14:00

@BamboozledandBefuddled no worries, I feel so much happier knowing I have antibiotics in! It was affecting my ear so didn't seem much of a stretch and my GP seems quite happy to hand out antibiotics just now so hopefully that's a countrywide thing! Hope you get some relief, tooth pain is just horrible!

BamboozledandBefuddled · 26/04/2020 14:05

But did it help the toothache Princess? Grin

Chocolatecakeandpinkcustard · 26/04/2020 14:14

Made DD a mud kitchen out of empty cardboard boxes. So it's more like a last until the first rain kitchen. Grin

There isnt much left but the base! The tooth was mostly filling with just the outside left!!! Back molar so it will take a bit of filling to fix it Grin
So far so good nothing else has broken off.

Pull up a chair by the fire Chocolate (its huge so 2m is no problem) do you have pet picturers or men in uniform to contribute to the cause they are always acceptable in our cabinet room?

Well Homebase apparently dont have short enough shelves for my bathroom,, how dare they! And I am not making a trip just for paint testers and a few plants. Will try tomorrow after work.

DS2 and I have planted sprouted potatoes so fingers crossed. Need to water all the pots later bah!

I did rub OH in it to see if he'll be less of a pain in the arse Grin Grin did it work? I could try it on ds1 !

Pringletastic · 26/04/2020 15:12

Afternoon you antibiotic hoarding, brandy swilling bunch o' lovelies.

I have returned from a thoroughly pleasant 'proper' conversation with another human being Not From My Household. We have created a pub of our own secluded rural picnic table where you BYOB and have set the world to rights. No crisps were consumed so we are well within The Roolz.

Did decimate most of the village, but they had it coming.

I have really missed just catching up, hanging out, laughing like a drain and seeing someone not from my family a friend.

I feel a hundred times more human than I did this morning. This is nothing whatsover due to the tiny several glass of wine.

Willow2017 · 26/04/2020 15:16

Pringle
my renegade neighbours have a circle of chairs in an open space outside and are actually talking and laughing (at a distnce) I am outraged! How dare they be enjoying 'these trying times'?

You must pay pennance for your sins too, I prescribe more wine to numb your homicidal tendancies Grin

Pinkginhelps · 26/04/2020 15:22

Princess ...I hope you didn't borrow any Amazon boxes from your throne for the making of the mud kitchen.
Smile ...I like the king or queen for 3 days idea. Beats crap presents you don't want. Does everyone have to be your slave for the duration?

Hello chocolate! Do you eat chocolate and custard simultaneously? Or mixed with gruel and tinned chickpeas as is the way in the new world order.

The child and I have passed a pleasant afternoon having a makeover day with lots of non-essential products purchased from boots. Very high kill count as I went the wrong way around the check out thingy and got told off by a boots stazi assistant young enough to be my granddaughter. However, come the revolution, we shall look FABULOUS!

I'm considering a new career as a beauty therapist because as it turns out, I'm a dab hand at eye brow and eyelash tinting. (IMHO)

My other heinous crime for the day is possibly increasing the kill count by proxy through telling my favourite friend about my secret haven of forbidden non-essential delights shop. They have been sworn to secrecy and warned that if they tell anyone else, they will be executed by the Bananian AK47 firing squad.

Do you think we could have AK47s modified to fire frozen bananas? That would be amusing....

CrowCat · 26/04/2020 15:26

@Pringletastic I'm so chuffed to hear stuff like this. I'm in talks with adult DC and they're OHs to sort out something along the same lines. My city will probably fall but nvm it could with bulldozing and starting over anyway.

Ok minor whinge coming up.

Charity singles. Is it just me or does this piss anyone else off? Is the NHS a charity? No. Is the WHO a charity? No.

Aside from that it just stinks of hey you all are in lockdown going crazy but look at us having fun making charity songs but don't you dare sit on a bench to eat a bag of crisps. Rather than boosting morale it just shows up an 'us and them' double standard.

There. I said it.

PrincessConsueIaBananaHammock · 26/04/2020 15:32

Any of you in Herts.. I got antibiotics. Just sayin' and proper painkillers. Advantages of being forrin.Grin

@Crowcat I detest Chariddy singles. Always wanky and annoying. They just irritate me.

Can I join your rant..?

I detest wealthy/ comfortably off people who get their friends to sponsor them running (which they do anyway). Why not just quietly give some of your wonga to the chariddy of your choice instead of virtue signalling and showing off that you aren't a lazy slob on faceache. Just GRRRRRRRRR! F off....

Phew. Glad that's off my chest.

Willow... Can't you gatecrash the neighbour's party? It sounds fun?
