I know the NHS keeps saying if you need a hospital please come to A&E but there's so much of the 'hospitals are buckling under the strain' being rammed down our throats that many won't want to make that worse!

Now, I’m sorry if this is tin foil hat territory...I’m in long term treatment for depression and anxiety and ive heard it said that both nicotine and ketamine could be used to help those conditions, but there’s no scientific institution who will endorse either of those!

I honestly don't know @LilacTree1 . In my personal experience fags got me through some very, VERY dark times. I don't know if it was the nicotine,the habit,the routine or what. I haven't been there for a long time , but I can't leave my crutch, no matter how deadly ,selfish and what not it is. That's something my stop smoking lady could never understand. That, and the fact that it actually does make me happy/content to smoke.

Maybe it's a less obvious form of self harm,maybe it really helps fuck knows. But I made it through without any other help, and God knows I bloody needed it.
