Just stayed up to try and get a Tesco slot

So was on the app and website using phone and iPad at 11.45 before there was a queue. At some point soon after the page went to a “youre in a queue don’t close the page “ message.

Got onto the website at 12:08.

All slots gone for both home delivery and click and collect. Which because of where I’m located are actually 2 different stores. I click and collect at my nearest one but if I have a delivery it comes from a store slightly further away.

I couldn’t have got in the queue any quicker! Is it just Impossible?

Think it depends where you are. I got on at 12.05 and every single delivery and click and collect slot was available for 2 weeks from now (7th). Same last week. So it must depend where you are. I don’t have vulnerable criteria on my account so have no advantage over anyone. (I use my shop for 3 households including elderly).

I tried several times to get in at midnight and failed. Would be in queue and then have no slots available. I randomly tried last evening at 6.30 and there were slots available for next day delivery. Got the delivery today. Try all through the day. Frustrating but it worked for me.

Night before last I woke up at 1.25am and had a trolley full lined up. Had tried that evening with no luck but looked at my phone and was amazed to see 4 time slots for 7 day's time- got one. Good luck (Asda btw).

I got in at 12.04 a few week bk and managed to get a slot, just. But took till 12.08 the night before they were all gone.

Think sometimes you get in quick enough and sometimes not, its more chance than how quick you click.

I just joined the Tesco queue at midnight and got a slot a few weeks from now.

I find they also randomly release them during the week too. This week it was Tuesday morning for slots the same week. So it’s worth checking whenever.

Also found that with Asda ie all booked up then suddenly free.

I managed today at 12.03
Been quite lucky recently and now have three slots booked all with Tesco so big sigh of relief!

I got one at 6am this morning for Asda I've had to try different supermarkets and had a mix of deliveries and collections

Got on Tesco at 12:02 all slots available for 7/5. Booked one with a bottle of milk. 12:06 all slots gone.

Sainsburys are all booked around here
And morrisons I couldn't get into the site.

However, I popped onto waitrose this afternoon and secured a lunchtime slot for Saturday..

@VivaLeBeaver I saw someone on another thread saying to check back again around two pm, because if someone reserves but doesn't check out in time that's when they'll be re-released.

I did too OP and it only goes up to May 7th for me. sat in queue from 23.50 to 12.10, let me through but all slots gone. Definitely depends on where you are as they only release a day at a time here, May 7th is the last.

I went on to tesco tonight and managed to get a delivery slot for 7 May. Queued for about 10-15 mins to get on the site, got on at around 00:02. There were still plenty of slots available at that time. They all seem to have gone now.

I queued until 12.08 and was surprised I could get any slot I wanted for the 7th of May.

I was on the other thread and I managed to get a slot at around 2:10 am, refreshed from around 1:55 until suddenly they were there.

It took me six nights running of being on the Tesco website at 23:50 to to get my first slot with them (25th April). I've just managed to book another for the 7th of May, again after around five nights of being there at midnight to no avail.

Make sure you don't refresh the page.

I've not found one at midnight but I have managed to get slots at around 3pm for the following day. Randomly looked on the app and they had loads showing over Easter. Few days later I looked around 6pm and lots more showing (didnt need it but told my friends who managed to secure slots). Feel very lucky! Hated having to go in to the store.

I checked a few times in the day for the past couple of weeks - nada - then looked this evening (morning?) at around 1am and I've been able to book one for early next week and another for two weeks after that now. With a free choice of practically all the slots!

No availability showing at midnight but using a tip on another thread, I did get a slot just after 2am by refreshing.
