"...suddenly severely anaemic, and I get dizzy, and everything is an effort, and my heart races!"
Hi, it's awful isn't it. With those symptoms do you also have chest / lung / back pain / aches + soreness and shortness of breath?
The situation you describe is the same as mine but I also have the above.
I can shower or make breakfast but it results in the extreme tiredness, a fast pounding heart and breathing difficulties. My armpits are also still slightly sweaty and my hands and feet are clammy. I'm more tired at this stage than I was 1 or even 2 weeks in. I'm at 3-4 weeks now.
I have also noticed my temperature has been increasing slightly over the past few days. It tends to be 36.8 but 2 days ago it started creeping up and I've just recorded 37.4. I know that's not classed as a fever... but it is high for me and could account for my clammy armpits, hands and feet.
In the past 3 days, both my back pain and lungs have been getting increasingly sore, to the point where I'd now describe my lungs as raw. I don't know if this is part of the healing process or a cause for concern. I say this because generally I'm finding it easier to breathe and, depending on what finger I use to take a reading, my oxygen is typically 98 -99.
Thanks to anyone who read this. I hope everyone managed to get some sleep and if you're not feeling a little better then are able to do the equally as difficult job of keeping calm and positive.
