@fedupofbed I'm very faint and shaky, feel like I'm going to pass out a lot, cant even have a shower at the moment. Its really awful but think people are just recovering in slightly different ways.

fedupofbed · 14/04/2020 12:13

@Tangledyarn not just me then. I see you're on quite a similar timeline to me too... in the 40s now. I'm sorry you're feeling so rubbish.

Moominmamma33 · 14/04/2020 12:13

@Moodgie I am not sure but maybe 26-28ish? I didn't start counting or paying attention to symptoms, as was caring for my kids who both had symptoms (mildly), so not sure exactly when it started...

WorriesomeDad · 14/04/2020 12:15

@Moodgie yeah the past week or so I haven’t been able to identify any pattern of dips or troughs, just sometimes feel ok thinking I can deal with this, then sometimes dreadful wondering how I’m going to cope if it goes on much longer!

Tangledyarn · 14/04/2020 12:21

@fedupofbed you too. Its really awful, like you say I just generally feel so unwell. I think its day 39 or 40 but I'm losing track now to be honest! Xx

Moodgie · 14/04/2020 12:21

@WorriesomeDad Same here. Yesterday I afternoon I was pretty positive and now have just been crying into my bowl of porridge.

Moodgie · 14/04/2020 12:29

Is there anyone here who has had all these
recurring dips of breathlessness and now recovered fully? I need a positive story please.

fedupofbed · 14/04/2020 12:30

I think there are a few of us who are having wobblies at the moment. Can't offer anything constructive, but sending love, best wishes and solidarity.

Moodgie · 14/04/2020 12:35

Thank you @fedupofbed, sending these to you too.

Egghead68 · 14/04/2020 12:41

Thanks @fedupofbed. Mine has gone up a bit now after eating lots of salty food. I still feel very light-headed though. I will keep an eye on it.

TheWooisStrong · 14/04/2020 12:54

Popping back in to say hi.
It took me 4 weeks ish but I’m nearly fully recovered, bar the end of an annoying chesty cough. I even managed to do Joe Wicks PE with my daughter this morning.
Bad idea as I’m now wiped out but that’s probably down to 4 weeks sitting around rather than anything else.
Relax, get fresh air and sun shine if you can, drink lots and eat well.

Egghead68 · 14/04/2020 12:58

Great news @TheWooisStrong! Amazing that you are able to exercise. So encouraging to hear of recoveries.

Egghead68 · 14/04/2020 13:00

@Moodgie I’ve been finding myself involuntarily crying today too. It’s so draining. Sending FlowersDaffodil

Moodgie · 14/04/2020 13:04

Sending love to you too @Egghead68!

eyebrowsofinstagram · 14/04/2020 13:09

@fedupofbed definitely try diarolite (not sure how you spell it)

I haven't tried it myself, but I was drinking so much water yesterday that I actually felt terrible- I knew to have salt so made a point of adding loads to my lunch and dinner. But I know diarolyte is the thing to take if you need extra salt.

Yesterday was my worst day of the lot (day 22 or 23) My temperature was fluctuating like crazy all through the day. Could barely use my phone or watch tv. Breathing was ok but not 100%.

But I thankfully slept ok (still a bit weird. But today I've woken up, temp back down. Have rested but I feel like I'm on the mend. I'm hopeful that yesterday my body was fighting the virus like crazy and my body won!

Yes @Tangledyarn people do have massively different experiences of the virus. I wonder if some of it is down to how heavy a dose you get? As I was fit and healthy and would have thought I'd have been ok, but I've been completely knocked down.

fedupofbed · 14/04/2020 13:09

That's wonderful@TheWooisStrong and thank you so much for popping in and letting us know. Some good news!

Tangledyarn · 14/04/2020 13:14

@eyebrowsofinstagram Yeah could well be how much of a dose you got. My boyfriend just had a bad cough for 2 weeks and a temp for 1 day but never felt particularly unwell. I feel like I've been destroyed by a biological weapon 40 days in, I definitely wasn't fit and healthy before, so would have expected to struggle more, although I'm still very surprised by just how awful I feel.

fedupofbed · 14/04/2020 13:30

Thank you @eyebrowsofinstagram DH is going to get some later today when he has a minute. I'm glad you're feeling better today and hope your body continues to kick it.

Andromeida59 · 14/04/2020 13:43

Hope you don't mind me joining in. I'm currently on day 33. I had a really bad stomach upset on Saturday night. Woke up feeling really good yesterday and managed to do some cleaning. This morning my chest is really painful and my sense of taste has gone. Breathing difficult but I have an inhaler.

LonelyFromCorona · 14/04/2020 13:44

Everyone having a go at me because I would like to know who here has had a positive test...

Thanks for sharing a couple of names I will dig around for their writeup of experience of this

WorriesomeDad · 14/04/2020 13:52

@stayathomegardener thanks for the vid

OneDayAtATime123 · 14/04/2020 14:23

@TheWooisStrong
I agree with you on getting the blood circulation going with mild exercise and sunshine. I feel better when I stretch , sit in the sun and walk a bit. Baby steps :-)

stayathomegardener · 14/04/2020 14:34

@WorriesomeDad pleasure! Hope it helped.

@TheWooisStrong great update, glad to hear your recovery continues.

Does/ did anyone feel like their lungs were stiff like cardboard? Able to take full breaths but feel rigid when you lay on front or sides?

JackJackIncredible · 14/04/2020 15:27

Hi lovely people. :) thinking I maybe should bow out because I feel I’ve mostly recovered from COVID symptoms. I’m still having lots of lung issues but unfortunately, this is normal for me. It’s my lung disease playing up. That said, always willing to give advice on certain respiratory stuff as unfortunately, I know it all too well but I don’t want to crowd up the place.
