DP is an actual angel. He cycled home with three Easter eggs, may have to flog himself for buying only none essentials, also lucky the police weren't there at the time checking what was bought 🤪

We have discovered beer and cider in our cupboard enough for tonight at least.

Well girls after nabbing the last two bottles of Cote de Gascogne Sav Blanc at Waitrose (£6 a pop and very nice to) came home to find a forgotten bottle of pinot grigio and 6 pack of baked beans on the shelf in the garage! Winning at life.
Currently in the garden with a straightening treatment on my hair hoping the neighbours with short fence don't spot me.

I saw a police van in the car park when i went out. Probably in coop getting a snack😀 they passed us on our way back hope they fidnt suss my box of wall filler or its probably me they are coming for.😂
More painting done getting fed up with it now. But nearly there.

It's supposed to be really sunny tomorrow! We were planning on having a BBQ and possibly entertain some afternoon beverages once all the arts and crafts were finished (have ordered DCs to make me a Spanish soldier out of paper mache).

Of course, we will have the BBQ inside with the doors and windows closed and I have already dettolled the coals (ran out of bleach) and chlorinated the chicken (seems the Americans were right all along...)

Tonight I am going to get drunk! Dp is going to the shop for bread.....so he can buy booze. We did try and go to aldi, but there was 50 people in the queue....could not be arsed.

Dogs had 2 walks today. Me and dh went separately. Doggos couldnt have given less of a fuck, that they exercised twice today. Rule breakers that they are!

I'm still working tomorrow, as it's not a holiday here, we get Monday and Tuesday as the holidays here. Although I used to work in a bank, so we did have Friday and Monday and I hated it because everyone else was off on the Tuesday whilst I had to go back to work.

So happy to see some people still appreciate the real hard workers in all this .

My day has been marginally brightened by the arrival of my illegal non-essential amazon order of my cross stitch materials and book of subversive cross stitch patterns. And an illegal visit from my nieces who waved from the end of my path, shouted something about LOL surprises and then threw (painted) rocks down the path to me as I assumed a gift rather than an attempt at a public stoning...

oh god...the thought of tonight's clap is actully upsetting me. I hate it. It just serves to remind me of how crap everything is right now. I am a clinical NHS worker. Work is shit right now. I know that. I face it every day. I dont bloody need reminding of it every Thursday at 8pm when Im trying to relax. I just need leaving alone to do my job and to not feel bloody judged if I stop at shop on my way home to buy wine.....

Although i havent clapped yet (because i have fallen aslerp each pm from work) i think many people (not the virtue signalers) just want to show thier appreciation even though it really doesnt help you all. It seems to be competitive now which defeats the whole idea.
I was a nurse in a previous life it was pretty hard at times then it must be horrific now in some places.

@Willow2017 thank you for working over the weekend. I for one dart around key workers in shops giving them all the space I can. And always have a chat and say a big thank you when paying (at a socially distanced distance).

Sinned again today, dropped Twix senior Easter Egg in. He's in a care home, big signs saying lockdown no entry. Had to leave it at the door. His room faces the car park so we waved and chatted on the phone for a bit. He's getting v.good with What's App video calling. We all deserve a bit of choc while watching endless Netflix this weekend!
