My sin today is a completely frivolous delivery from dunelm of non-essential household fripperies. To be fair, these were ordered before lockdown, then finely cancelled the order (fair enough), but then last night sent me a text to say they were on their way. Still didn’t expect to see them, but they’ve just arrived. They are now decontaminating in the garage as I’d just scrubbed my hands for the nth time today, and put on clean clothes, so will get them later. But I will have a range of non essential items such as cushions, candles, a rug and a mirror to look forward to. I will try my best not to get any pleasure from them though - that will make it ok, right?

Ive just been to get some food supplies, and then I popped into Boots to buy some eyebrow pencil and some nail varnish. My eyebrows are horrendous (normally get them waxed) so I needed this tiny pleasure to help me out. I cant even bring myself to apologise for this sin

Went to the local shop for bacon and 2 cans of rio.
Cats out and I'm ordering on amazon prime kinetic sand for my toddler and wine for me. Fun for everyone.

I went to put the bin bags out. I saw a neighbour from the couple of houses down on the opposite side of the road doing their bins. I was about to shout HI and wave, but then I remembered we're in a LOCKDOWN, so I run back into the house, locked the door, washed my hands for 5 minutes, shut the curtains and hid under my bed, where I still am typying this message 4 hours later.

They’re tinkering with the site at the moment I think? All sorts of things disappearing / reappearing / changing position.

@Willow2017 I bleached the whole house including the content of the fridge just in case, and wrapped up my toddler in cling film.

Can I join? I've found myself wondering to myself if I'm 'aloud' to go and buy milk by itself or if it'll make me murdering scum and feel like I need to step away from the rest of Mumsnet. I have a cat, if that helps.

Well things went wrong after all. No corpses thank fuck, but a lady couldn't get her dogs back in time(or to heel) so they scared the crap out of DD by growling and barking at her. She was brave and stood still and said she was ok , but as soon as they left she burst into tears said she doesn't want to play anymore and wants to go home.

Ah that's shit! Dp took the dog out this morning and got in an argument with someone for the same thing.

He is slightly over protective of the ouppy, since she had a shit start and is tiny. He said a womans dog really aggressively jumped on her and she was yelping and the woman couldnt get the dog off. He had to grab dpup off the ground and the dog wouldnt piss off

Dpup is fine. So I am imagine a less dramatic version actually happened. But it does annoy me. When people cant control their dogs.
