Does anyone know how his health is and how he’s doing?

OP posts:
Applejaxx · 05/04/2020 18:46

He's a smoker I believe which doesn't bode well for people who catch CV, because their lungs are already really unhealthy.

Im far from a fan, but I certainly dont wish him ill or worse. Im also worried for Carrie Symmonds. Hope she is being cared for somewhere.

Kortnee · 05/04/2020 18:46

I hope he’s better soon & able to support his fiancé through her pregnancy & raise his child
How utterly callous do you have to be to think otherwise?!

The shambles of a plan proposed by the Govt showed they were quite willing to risk everyones lives on their "Herd Immunity" gamble.

When some bumbling idiots stands in front of the camera babbling about "washing your hands" and "don't go on a cruise" as a precaution against a virus flooring other countries, I'm certainly not going to lose any sleep over the dozy twat contracting the bug!

He wouldn't have given two shits of one of us plebs had got it.

Walkaround · 05/04/2020 18:46

I thought I couldn’t stand Boris Johnson, but I don’t wish ill health on anyone.

Is Jacob Rees Mogg holding his against the radiator for when Nanny comes in? Wink

Barrique · 05/04/2020 18:52

How big is the fridge in No 11?

The80sweregreat · 05/04/2020 18:53

I feel more sorry for his girlfriend who is heavily pregnant and poorly too.
I think Boris will be ok but it must be worrying for her. I don't like many politicians . but I don't wish this virus on anyone.
Apart from anything else it's caused havoc.
My main sympathy is for the poor key workers also getting ill. We need them.
Wishing anyone with it a speedy recovery.

Didkdt · 05/04/2020 18:54

I love how so many on here think he's a shirker and they could do better.
What great corporations are you CEO of that you know so much better than the government and their advisors
And IF we come out of this better than the rest of Europe what will you say then

Hearhoovesthinkzebras · 05/04/2020 18:55

Guess his boasting about continuing to shake hands doesn't look quite so clever now?

Glowcat · 05/04/2020 18:57

Boris looks rough when he’s well but yes, I think he’s had more than mild symptoms. No one wants people to be ill whatever they may think of their politics.

amijustparanoidorjuststoned · 05/04/2020 18:57

@cologne4711 um, I've had a higher-than-normal temperature for just coming up 2 weeks.... I'm 28 and in good health, should I be worried?! Not asking for a diagnosis Grin but I thought symptoms generally lasted 2-3 weeks. Oh boy.

Meredithgrey1 · 05/04/2020 18:57

I'm sure he's getting the best care possible. Concerned for his fiance and their unborn child.

She tweeted that she'd been in bed with symptoms for a few days but was now feeling better so hopefully no serious illness for her or her baby.

Glowcat · 05/04/2020 18:58

Although, in other circumstances, Jeremy Hunt having to rely on the goodwill of NHS staff would be amusing.

Ravenesque · 05/04/2020 18:58

To be fair, when he came back from the Caribbean earlier in the year he looked pale and pasty and like a man who'd been on a week-long bender so what a well-looking Johnson looks like is hard to say. i.e. he always looks pretty rough to me and I noticed no difference in last week's video than his normal unhealthy pallor.

SouthWestmom · 05/04/2020 19:00

If he and Carrie were living together where is he now? She's at Chequers I think so did they stick to the rules about staying put?

Just wondering after the resignation in Scotland for applying the do as I say not what I do method of public position

SouthWestmom · 05/04/2020 19:02

Sorry not resignation. Stopped from press conferences and a police warning

VaukaPinvhin · 05/04/2020 19:03

I love how so many on here think he's a shirker and they could do better

I don’t think he’s shirking now. But in general hard work was not something Boris signed up for imo. I couldn’t do any better but then I know my limits and wouldn’t put myself forward as Prime Minister. Boris is no more Prime Minister material than I am. He doesn’t have most of the qualities necessary.

Bornfreebutincovidchains · 05/04/2020 19:04

He's already smoke? Shock

Find that quite surprising!

He sounded OK to me but he didn't look well, not properly shaven...
Eyes looked strange...

I hope he's OK but let's face it, he'll have access to top medics.

Bornfreebutincovidchains · 05/04/2020 19:06

A Shirker 😂 what pm has had anything as perilous and grueling as brexit to take on, not many! And how brexit has paled into David agaisnt covid goliath... Shirker indeed!

vera99 · 05/04/2020 19:07

On LBC today I heard his cough has got worse and that could be a sign of developing pneumonia.

TheShepherdsCrown · 05/04/2020 19:09

I too loathe Boris Johnson but I can’t wish this virus on him or anyone. I hope he recovers. As @Piglet208 says he needs to be held to account for his decisions.

KatySun · 05/04/2020 19:09

I am on day 17 of CV symptoms, it is a horrible virus even if you do not need hospitalisation, and the media has been perpetuating a narrative that either it is no milder than a cold or you struggle to breathe. In reality there is a whole spectrum of symptoms inbetween which can make it fairly awful. I would not have been able to make a video recording this time last week, or whatever Boris did (not been following) so I am not surprised he looked unwell.

Obviously I wish him and everyone else who is ill a full recovery. However, the seven days self-isolation is clearly nonsense when the symptoms last longer in many people.

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 05/04/2020 19:11

I’ve had symptoms for coming up three weeks now. I’m on the mend but bloody hell, I wouldn’t want to be in public running the country yet. Let him recover. Don’t want to be coughing on TV!

Hopeisnotastrategy · 05/04/2020 19:14

Many in this country voted for Boris despite their normal voting patterns, because they recognised the then Brexit issue needed someone of his energy and drive to resolve.

Covid-19 needs that with knobs on.

Apart from the general lack of morality involved in wishing a fatal illness on anyone, the country needs him to drive things forward right now. No government anywhere in the world has this thing under control because it is so freakish, but I think Boris is better at dealing with the freakish than any other candidate I could name right now.

I hope he is ok and I hope Chris Whitty is ok. 💕

Porcupineinwaiting · 05/04/2020 19:15

What @KatySun said. I have mild coronavirus and have been feeling awful for 17 days. "Mild" can make you very sick indeed.

WoollyMollyMonkey · 05/04/2020 19:19

I heard the door on the fridge got stuck, that’s why we’ve not seen him.
