Does anyone know how his health is and how he’s doing?

OP posts:
justanotherneighinparadise · 05/04/2020 18:19

I wish him well as I’m not a complete arsehole Hmm

Chienloup · 05/04/2020 18:22

I think he's okay. He didn't seem to have any trouble breathing in the latest video address, he wasn't pausing to catch his breath or anything, no coughing. He just looked like someone who was recovering from flu.
I wish him and Chris Whitty a speedy recovery.

Oxyiz · 05/04/2020 18:23

There would be panic if he died. I hope he recovers and invests into the NHS for future problems.

GarlicBreadItsTheFuture · 05/04/2020 18:26

@Oneliner - really is there any need to be so unpleasant? Utterly disgusting to say that about someone who is sick.

Chrisinthemorning · 05/04/2020 18:26

I wish him well. I didn’t vote for him and I’m not a fan but I don’t wish death by cv on anyone!
I also don’t think the PM very unwell or dying will help the country at all right now.

middleager · 05/04/2020 18:26

I wish him well, despite not agreeing with his work to date.

I am on day five of something and so he has my sympathies.

It is important for people to see that not everyone bounces back in a week like Nadine Dorries, Prince Charles etc.

And we'd be ok with that, but it might be being downplayed for various reasons.

MabelMoo23 · 05/04/2020 18:28

I thought he looked really unwell last time we saw him.

Chris Witty has also been very very quiet and should know theory be out of self isolation by now, so really hope he’s ok too

Ginnymweasley · 05/04/2020 18:29

I dont particularly like the man but I hope he recovers as I am not an arsehole of a person.

IsolationBoredom · 05/04/2020 18:30

Hoping he makes a speedy recovery

Surly · 05/04/2020 18:30

My family member has had covid, un tested but had every symptom going. Shes doing a whole lot better now after 2 weeks, exercising and up and about but she still looks like shit, big bags under her eyes and just a sunken sallow look to her even though shes getting more sleep than usual and eating and drinking properly.
So hopefully he is ok but just still looks a but rough?

KenDodd · 05/04/2020 18:30

There would be panic if he died

Do you think? What are you imagining?

How long has he had it now? I think he was on the step clapping the NHS on Thursday (hypocrite) so assuming the hasn't had a real turn for the worse he should be ok, I hope, shouldn't he?

GreyGardens88 · 05/04/2020 18:31

He's probably holding his thermometer in the kettle steam to get out of doing daily briefings. No I don't like the man and wouldn't put it past him

AmelieTaylor · 05/04/2020 18:32

Jesus @Oneliner was there really any need for that?

I’m not terribly impressed (understatement) with hiw the Govt has handled this & not terribly impressed with his inability to ever sound like an actual adult able to lead our country, but I wish him well. I hope he’s better soon & able to support his fiancé through her pregnancy & raise his child

How utterly callous do you have to be to think otherwise?!

MockersxxxxxxxSocialDistancing · 05/04/2020 18:33

Given his notorious lack-of-work-ethic, the idea that he is still running things is dubious, but probably an improvement.

LuluJakey1 · 05/04/2020 18:34

I think he is more unwell than they have said. He certainly looked pretty unwell. However, I don't think he is desperately ill-at least I hope not and I hope he is better soon.

KenDodd · 05/04/2020 18:38

What would happen if he did die?

RU562341 · 05/04/2020 18:39

No one is wishing him well

Well, that's rude. I didn't vote for him and personally dislike his politics. I don't particularly like Matt Hancock as far as politics go, either. But I wish them both well (and am glad Hancock seems to be recovered well) as I would anybody who gets any illness. I don't go around wishing harm or ill health to anybody, regardless of who they are or if I agree with them politically or even if I like them as people or not.

vanillandhoney · 05/04/2020 18:41

I imagine he's exhausted - he has the worry of running the country on his shoulders at a time where he should be resting as much as possible.

I'm not a huge fan of his but I hope he recovers soon.

RU562341 · 05/04/2020 18:41

KenDodd, theoretically I would imagine a quick leadership contest.
It would be quite shocking, actually. Maybe it would make people take it more seriously.
I hope he starts to feel better soon.

Poppinjay · 05/04/2020 18:42

There would be panic if he died. I hope he recovers and invests into the NHS for future problems.

Why on earth would anyone panic?

He won't invest in the NHS. His views on our healthcare system have been made clear for donkey's years.

I wish his the same luck as all the other people who have and will have this awful virus: no more and no less. He matters not one bit more than anyone else.

NanaRant · 05/04/2020 18:42

We are all 7 of us suffering from COVID 19. 2 households, aged 1 to 86 (with a 25 year old type 1 diabetic). 3 weeks on, my 86 year old Father-in-law still in hospital, still testing positive, my husband is in bed and I am on high alert to dial 999 if his condition worsens. My 19 year old son (a 6 foot 4 strapping healthy young man) has a tight chest and sore on breathing out. Temperature still all over the place.
I do not wish this virus on anyone, not even Boris. Far less his poor pregnant fiance.

Cuddling57 · 05/04/2020 18:43

Chris Whitty updated his Twitter 2 days ago, obv I realise this could be someone else doing this.

HarrietSchulenberg · 05/04/2020 18:44

@Greygardens88 😂🤣😂. My thoughts too!

BarkandCheese · 05/04/2020 18:44

I’m not a fan of his politics or much of his behaviour, however I wish him nothing but well.

I haven’t had Covid but I’ve had flu a few times and I’ve always found the absolute exhaustion which comes after the worst of the symptoms as bad as the illness itself. Hopefully he’s on the mend but just utterly wiped out by it.

ilovemydogandmrobama2 · 05/04/2020 18:45

Really don't wish Covid 19 on anyone, and hope he gets better soon.

And of course hope Carrie is on the mend and that the baby is unaffected.

But once he is fit, hope him and his government have their backs against the wall as far as why there still isn't adequate PPE? My husband and the countless others have to go to work without adequate protection and for that they should be accountable.
