Does anyone know how his health is and how he’s doing?

OP posts:

Yes coveting it's the speed at which this can turn, especially in week 2.

The80sweregreat · 06/04/2020 21:20

2020 is such a shitty year already.

donkeyoatey · 06/04/2020 21:24

Stick in there Boris. Get better soon.

PearPickingPorky · 06/04/2020 21:30

Please can we all stop "I don't like him/his politics/his lifestyle etc and just wish him well.

Yes, this.

You don't need to agree with all of someone's politics to just hope they don't die from an awful illness.

Nobody (whose opinion matters, anyway) will think badly of you for just wishing an extremely ill person well, without the virtue-signalling caveat

DarnedSocks · 06/04/2020 21:31

People saying they don't like his politics are doing so because they don't want accusations of being hypocrites. They might have vocally posted criticism on politics threads, for example. It's also because some posters are almost taking pleasure in him being so poorly. There's no harm in noting that you can disagree with, or even dislike, someone but still wish them well.

Janaih · 06/04/2020 21:32

People can post what they like, as long as they meet mn rules.

lyralalala · 06/04/2020 21:35

Exactly this.

There were posts as soon as he went into hospital along the lines of “watch all those that have been criticising him all week now all come out pretending they wish him well”.

I don’t like him, I don’t like his morals or his politics, but I wish him well.

Same as I wish the twat down the street who treats his wife abominably well.

You don’t have to like someone to hope they don’t die, but there are people on here who’ll jump and call hypocrisy

VegetableMunge · 06/04/2020 21:37

Yep lyra.

RufustheLanglovingreindeer · 06/04/2020 21:42

Yes darning and ’lyra

derxa · 06/04/2020 21:42

I like Boris. I voted for him in the end. C'mon Boris I'm rooting for you.

carlywurly · 06/04/2020 21:43

It's just grim. Not a time for political point scoring. Just a time to wish him and everyone else who this awful virus has affected, well.

aurynne · 06/04/2020 23:36

Guys, Boris is saved, Donald has it all under control and is sending - in fact, apparently they have landed in London already - some of his best therapeutics, who speak a language people cannot even understand, and are tremendous. You really couldn't make this up.

lyralalala · 06/04/2020 23:39

Did he actually just say “we’ve contacted Boris’ doctors”?!

I must say that I used to think he talked utter rubbish, but now I know that he understands how they’ve bettered “therapeutics therapeutically” I’m convinced... Sheesh.

crustycrab · 06/04/2020 23:43

Wtf are you all arguing about? Confused

UYScuti · 07/04/2020 00:08

What the f* was that from trump he sounds as pissed as a fart 😳😲

T0tallyFuckedUpFamily · 07/04/2020 00:14

That fucking man, Trump, should just shut up and concentrate on cleaning up the bloody mess that he’s let happen to the people of America. I’d imagine Boris’s doctors will politely tell anyone who tries to tell them how to do their own jobs, to fuck away off!

No doubt if Boris makes it, Trump will somehow try to claim credit. Hmm

NeverGuessWho · 07/04/2020 07:16

@T0tallyFuckedUpFamily

Absolutely he will.

I hope, and bet, Boris’ doctors didn’t even take his call, and that Trump is just bull shitting.

But, imagine our brilliant NHS medics, if they did take the call, listening to Trump waffling on about FA, taking 5 minutes to say absolutely ...nothing.

JudyCoolibar · 07/04/2020 07:25

The companies are "more than major, more than size"? Has Trump lost whatever grasp of the language he ever had?

JudyCoolibar · 07/04/2020 07:26

Nobody (whose opinion matters, anyway) will think badly of you for just wishing an extremely ill person well, without the virtue-signalling caveat

You do realise this post is virtue-signalling in itself?

BovaryX · 07/04/2020 07:32

Wishing Boris Johnson the very best of luck to pull through this. Good luck Boris.

Smilebehappy123 · 07/04/2020 07:34

Couldn't care less , he has stripped the NHS down to its bare bones with his scummy tory mates, I'm more concerned with the welfare of our nurses and key workers

BovaryX · 07/04/2020 07:37

@Smilebehappy123
Your sloppy slogans and political tribalism speak volumes about you. Despicable post.

Oakmaiden · 07/04/2020 07:40

Trump has to make it about him, doesn't he?

He just needs the limelight.

OhTheRoses · 07/04/2020 07:42

vilebesad987
What a nasty thing to say. And actually he's only been PM since December so if anyone stripped the NHS bare it wasn't Boris. It started with Blair who pumped millions into bureaucracy rather than care and allowed pfi to take off.

QueenofmyPrinces · 07/04/2020 07:43

Not a Tory fan particularly but I have no grudge against BJ as an individual.

When I heard yesterday that he’d been moved to intensive care I was genuinely saddened and worried for him.

I imagine he’s a lot worse than is being let on.

I wish him well, I hope he comes through this and I send my thoughts out to his family who must be petrified.
