Hello!

tobee · 02/04/2020 19:12

I've been daydreaming about Fentimans and Bloom gin and rose lemonade. 😩

Judge away!

GuyFawkesDay · 02/04/2020 19:29

Thank you!

Today I treated myself to a digital magazine subscription of one I buy in print. I got a freebie and saved £20 on buying one each month. I can read it on the tablet in the bath too now 💕

Made a lovely cake and feel a bit less fraught today. Teaching online, managing my own kids and house etc has been trying this week.

Am grateful I can relax a bit now.

Thank you for the new thread!

The sun is shining here and I am feeling very positive today. My grocery shopping trip at 7.30am today went very well (we even found loo roll!!) so I feel justified in relaxing and taking the rest of the day off, reading, Mumsnetting, maybe I’ll even start my journal.

M0reGinPlease · 02/04/2020 19:43

Hi gang! 👋

Just back from doing the Morrison's run for me and parents. Very well stocked. They even had bleach!!!!

Pasta still a pipe dream though...

Arcadia · 02/04/2020 19:45

Thanks @tobee!
A brand new shiny positive thread!

IdrisElbasLeftTesticle · 02/04/2020 19:55

Thank you!

I put a call out on Facebook for flour yesterday so I can make bread (use a sourdough starter which needs feeding regularly) and bake with the kids. I spent over an hour going to three different supermarkets (on foot) and couldn’t find any.

A lovely friend dropped a bag round a couple of hours later, along with parsnips and leeks from his garden, and then today another friend messaged to say she had two bags from Morrison’s for me. So now we are well stocked for the foreseeable and the 6yo and I made fruit flapjacks Smile

Has anyone hay fever started the last few days?

EsioTrot · 02/04/2020 19:57

Thank you for starting the new thread.
I check in several times a day and find it so helpful.
I'm another bunny fan - absolutely loving the photos.

foxessocks · 02/04/2020 19:59

gingerbreadslice yep mine has

StCharlotte · 02/04/2020 20:00

Hello all! Much better day today. I think everyone hit a wall yesterday.

Lovely niece dropped off some shopping and she'd popped in an Easter Egg too. While we were chatting (from a safe distance natch), she admired the deely boppers I'd totally forgotten I'd been wearing ALL day Grin

Blerg · 02/04/2020 20:09

Hi everyone, thanks for the new thread. Apologies, someone asked if we were all ok on the last thread and I lost track. We are well and I’m feeling normal. Did a Bodypump workout from home today. Also took kids for a walk and saw loads of rainbows and some teddies.

Bunnyflop · 02/04/2020 20:14

Checking in!

Yes mine has @gingerbreadslice

RobinHobb · 02/04/2020 20:16

@M0reGinPlease
Making egg pasta is actually not tooooo bad if you're desperate for pasta!
Also: I found fresh egg pasta hadn't sold out. It doesn't last forever but it can go in the freezer for months...

ExpletiveDelighted · 02/04/2020 20:22

Thanks for the new thread. We make pasta sometimes but getting short on flour now. We have been buying fresh from the supermarket. I am nearly out of yeast now and contemplating making a sourdough starter as I do still have some strong flour but I'm not sure if the DCs will like sourdough bread.
