Today I've ordered some seeds and a new headset from amazon.

Anyone else?

@Nollett, virtue signalling is saying ‘look at me I am so virtuous and good’ in my views/actions etc. I’m assuming that is aimed at me or anyone else here with an opinion other than ‘buy whatever you fancy’? I think it’s a shame if we can’t have a conversation with different viewpoints on this and try to gain an understanding of how other people are thinking on the issue, isn’t that why we are here?

Nollett · 29/03/2020 23:10

Merename that makes sense now you’ve explained, thanks :) I’m autistic so tend to need phrases spelt out Blush

Yesterday's delivery was a hedgehog house. The original animal-made one got damaged in the recent winds, so I was wanting a replacement. I wanted one last year but it never happened but it is more important now. There is a hedgehog mooching around so a house would be good for it.

roarfeckingroar · 29/03/2020 23:14

A whole DIY gel nails kit complete with lamp. I actually bought it a couple of days ago and it has arrived. Great purchase.

I'm trying not to order anything that we don't need - for delivery people's sake and using it as an excuse to stop bad buying habits. There's plenty games and shit lying around the house for the kids to do - failing that they'll need to get creative!

We're on week 3 here.

Washing machine packed in 2 weeks ago and I finally managed to get one ordered today. I'm feeling guilty about the 2 man delivery but it really is an essential as I can't keep driving to my Mum's to dump it in her doorstep and running away 🤭

I am sorry to hear of your cancer diagnosis. I take back what I said. You deserve that treadmill love xx

vodkaredbullgirl · 29/03/2020 23:35

Miss calm your tits down.

Chesneyhawkes1 · 29/03/2020 23:37

Thank you @MissGuernsey. This time 3 weeks ago I was running 50 miles a week and now this. Running is the time when I forget I've got it. And I'm gutted I can't go back to work too.

Sorry my my language 😖😊 xxx

Frigginella · 29/03/2020 23:38

Nothing. Sticking to the essentials so that hopefully more people can stay at home.

Frigginella · 29/03/2020 23:39

I am going to order stamps tomorrow though so my children can write letters to their family and friends. This feels a bit more essential though.

WanderingLost167 · 29/03/2020 23:39

Things for my DD birthday, clothes, art supplies. Lingerie. Slightly optimisticly

CloudsCanLookLikeSheep · 29/03/2020 23:42

Fimo for the kids and hair dye for me

Slurpy · 29/03/2020 23:46

Much lauded on MN Hush harem pants. Been after some for years.

Sweatheart · 29/03/2020 23:50

I'm so torn on this as seeing conflicting advice. I've bought a small card for my sister to post to her as shes really missing me and my mum and dad (shes a doctor almost 300 miles away so we dont know when we will next see her).

Other than that a case of beer for my boyfriend from my local brewery and a pilates ball to try to make my back less sore by taking the pressure off.

ErrolTheDragon · 29/03/2020 23:52

I ordered some flower seeds.
They did include nasturtiums, I'll used those for fresh peppery salad at least.

No need to apologise for your language love. Tis normal at work!

I am more into cross country/fell running. I am a member of an athletics club. I am a shite runner though. I run at the back of the field. Tis a good race if there are ten behind me! I can do 5k in 28 minutes. Mind you, I am a mature lady! I am a fun runner!

I pray you will recover. 50 miles a week is good going love. Please update us. Smile

Chesneyhawkes1 · 29/03/2020 23:59

@MissGuernsey I will do. I love the trails for my long runs but I'm a road runner at heart. Fells would finish me off 😂

Luckily my marathon is cancelled now so the pressure is off and I can just run for me for now.

Just a shame everyone in my little town is suddenly doing the same thing.

JingleCatJingle · 30/03/2020 00:02

@OddBoots where are you getting the hay from? We have a bag left and I’m starting to worry.

MissGuernsey · 30/03/2020 00:12

Now that is funny! I hate road-running. I prefer the grass. Sometimes I have to make up the team in the SEAA Road-Relays. So embarrassing. I pore over the results to see if anybody runs a slower leg than me!

You must keep up your training. So many races cancelled until the end of May under England Athletics rules. Good luck my love and feel free to PM for a chat.

I walk on the Capital Ring to go to work. Never seen as many exercise enthusiasts!
