Today I've ordered some seeds and a new headset from amazon.

Anyone else?

Building supplies from local family owned firm who always offer free delivery.

Printer ink.

shirleyschmidt · 29/03/2020 19:22

Done an Amazon order of puzzles (children's only atm as all reasonably priced adult ones are out of stock!), Jenga, and some activity books. It's crazy how little is available atm - as with the groceries everyone is obviously having the same idea!! 😅

dovedoves · 29/03/2020 19:22

A new king sized duvet

Pipandmum · 29/03/2020 19:23

Sketchbook for my daughter.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 29/03/2020 19:23

Need to order DH some new lounge wear, I’m fed up with his scruffy holey t shirts and joggers which he’s living in right now.

vodkaredbullgirl · 29/03/2020 19:23

MrTumblePulledAKnifeOnMe · 29/03/2020 19:28

catscatscatseverywhere · 29/03/2020 19:29

Pootle40 · 29/03/2020 19:30

Jigsaws from eBay in the hope it could be someone who needs the money right now.

Need new kitchen scales so that could be next.

Kindlingwood · 29/03/2020 19:31

Jigsaws, huge box of crisps, coffee syrup and a couple of tennis trainers for kids (arguab,y essential for exercise in our small yard). My husband has bought Lego.

And a load of take aways. Yum.

Mamamia456 · 29/03/2020 19:32

I've heard that Amazon are not taking deliveries in their warehouses for non essential stuff, has anyone else heard this?

katmarie · 29/03/2020 19:33

Some childrens gardening gear for ds, we're making over the garden while hes off nursery, and hes very keen to 'help' (dig holes and eat dirt mostly). And then because I felt bad about buying him stuff (I've bought him a few bits to keep him occupied at home over the last couple of weeks) I bought dd some squishy blocks to play with.

CarolineIngalls · 29/03/2020 19:33

Kettlebells for me and the teenagers. The 14 year old said his goal of lockdown is to "get jacked" We've been unsuccessful buying weights online as there has been a rush on home gym equipment. The boys have been making do with an box of hand weights from my 30 day shred era. The box if handweights totals 10 kilos. No one will "get jacked" with a 10k box .

EffOrf · 29/03/2020 19:35

I ordered Patio Magic from Amazon today - whoops forgot that one - delivery by Friday

TheArchSorcererofContwaraburg · 29/03/2020 19:36

A jar of luxury pesto.

FizzyPink · 29/03/2020 19:47

Oohh great thread. It’s my birthday next week so lurking for ideas of things to add to my list.
I’ve bought:
Lots of painting and decorating supplies
Sheet masks
A new belly bar
Bottle stoppers for all the prosecco I keep drinking
Vitamins
A shredder so we can finally get rid of the bank statements DP has been keeping since 2009
DVDs for my grandma who doesn’t have the internet

I have to say that I do love how easy Amazon is for delivering gifts to relatives and being able to see when it’s been delivered

timeforawine · 29/03/2020 19:53

Bird seeds and other bird food

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 29/03/2020 19:55

I ordered some hairdressing scissors from Sally’s. I have a short, blunt fringe and am going to have to go in on it if this is on for 12 weeks.

Crazychocolatelady · 29/03/2020 20:02

Since this all started I have ordered new make up, new skincare, kitchen bin, front door doormat, 2 pairs of shoes for me, a pair for ds, make up brushes, clothes, clothes for DS and football goals for ds. I realise this sounds like a lot but it was all things I've been meaning to get and I'm in ireland and had my birthday just after the schools closed, I'm also high risk so haven't left the house since the 8th of march except for a few walks

Bookoffacts · 29/03/2020 20:08

I think non essential deliveries and shopping should stop.
You have no regard at all for the warehouse operatives, delivery drivers and sometimes even international supply chain.

As long as your capitalism continues.

darkside29 · 29/03/2020 20:18

For the pp who asked and for info

Amazon’s Covid 19 guidance Here

On their blog they’re asking customers to consolidate or delay deliveries, and trying to prioritise essentials as the supermarkets are, but they are not asking you to stop ordering.

All that may change, but currently, the government’s emphasis is on keeping most people at home, and there has been no indication yet that e-commerce will be curtailed or discouraged. It could be a long lockdown.
