The lockdown rules don’t apply to my particular situation because:

• I have a holiday booked and it’s in the middle of nowhere so we won’t infect anyone;
• I’m worried about getting an overdue book fine from the library;
• My dog has poor recall but needs off-lead exercise so I can’t stay local for walks because I live in a built-up area;
• I need to socialise my puppy;
• My DH wants to take the DC to see the ILs.

People are just trying to understand and get their heads around the most serious threat we’ve faced for decades, restrictions to life more severe than during wartime, and you post a thread to laugh at people struggling to get their heads around it all. Genuine question. Have a new puppy, needs his last injections so he can be walked. If he doesn’t get them then he can never go outside. Will I be able to go to the vets because surely this could be life or death for the dog?
