Anyone actually stayed at home?

Has anyone just stayed home, not gone out anywhere today?

I’ve kept myself to myself, been back to my empty home (caring for Df) to collect a couple of things

Not been anywhere else, no shopping, no going to the park etc

It’s not easy, but I want to keep safe

My 6m old dog was crying at the door to go for a walk. We took her and the moors was surrounded by parked cars and crawling with people and golfers- mainly older people in groups who all wanted to come over and "awww" over my two small boys and have a chat with me about what I was going to do about the schools!

We won't be going out again for a long while Sad it's going to really, really damage my mental health.

What's winding me up the most is there are people all over FB with huge lectures all over their statuses #STAYHOME blah blah SAVE LIVES!... and the next update is them outside at some popular National Park, loads of people in the background of their pictures! It's insane.

I’ve been home all day apart from a 5 min walk around the block with DS in the pushchair to get him to sleep. Didn’t even see another pedestrian.

Yesterday I had to take him to have a vaccination and then bought some essentials in a local shop but sanitised my hands regularly and was home as quick as can be. I am not planning to do more than walk around empty streets for the next week at least!

Stayed in since wed. 3 trips to small local shop for bread and milk and wine. Walked the dog on the beach that is 10 mins from my house and I went early so there were literally 2 other dog walkers who i kept away from. I did allow a friend over to visit last night as my anxiety was thru the roof but that's the last time now. Indoor for us apart from dog walking which I'm tempted to even do at night or very early in the morning.

A dog walk, local to home, in the sunshine, with my son for Mothers Day. Felt better for it - I work with schools - a stressful few days and more to come!

Only been out to deliver groceries, which had arrived from Ocado, to my elderly parents who are, sensibly, self-isolating.

Yes, Tesco delivered yesterday and we stayed at home today. Can't get another home delivery slot so will have to go out for food shopping towards end of the week but apart from that will stay at home. Lovely day today so played in the garden and dried loads of laundry. DC supervised the ducks on an outing to the burn at the back of the garden and built them a diving board :) It was all very idyllic am fortifying myself with wine prior to homeschooling tomorrow.

I did, aside from taking some shopping to my disabled mum - I'm her carer so have to pop in to her every day to check on her.
Other than that I took the dog to a field and enjoyed the sunshine, did some gardening and read a book.

I've walked the dog twice, saw nobody at all on my second walk and passed just one person (at a safe distance) on my first. Other than shopping for essentials last Tuesday and the dog walks I haven't been anywhere else in ten days.

Been in isolation since last week, been forced out to shop for medicine and necessaries on Friday and today. Been out of the house max 20 minutes each time and straight into the shower when home.

I’ve not been out of the house since Thursday. I’ve been in the garden which has been lovely, gardening and listening to the bird song.

I have been out once in the last nine days to get a prescription. I live in the US in Ohio where we have clearly been told to stay at home. Everything is shut down. I do go for walks, it’s pretty cold and not many people are out.

I had to go into work ( middle of countryside). People everywhere. There were lots of couples and family groups, 2m from each other’s group, masses of cyclists and cars parked up having picnics.
It did look like a bank holiday frankly.

Although they were all apart so I guess following advice. It’s just annoying to see everyone having a lovely time whilst those still working are having to work twice as hard as normal.

I think our whole street has judging by the owners cars that are all just parked outside their houses, it’s been similar all week, lots are wfh now, also a lot of retired people live up my street.

We went for a walk in an area where there few other people. If we saw anyone we walked quickly away and never got within 3m of another person. This is day 7 of this regime. I never go anywhere apart from a daily walk well away from other people. DP only goes out for essentials.

I can’t believe the amount of people we saw in groups: running, socialising, cycling.

We’ve stayed at home for almost a week now, except one visit to boots to pick up a prescription for my daughter (through a no-contact hatch).

We intend to stay at home for at least two weeks now, hopefully three - no shopping trips, no visits to public spaces. We’ll go for walks in the evening but that’s it.

I went to get bread (not got enough room in my freezer to store any).
Might need to get milk maybe Tuesday or Wednesday. Won’t go out otherwise.

I work in a school so will obviously be going in tomorrow for the children of key workers but since I got home on Friday I've not been out the house at all.

I wish I could say the same for others....

I went to deliver some white vinegar to my DSis. She's ill with a chest infection and her DD had tried to help by putting washing up liquid in the dishwasher. I left it on her bin.

I also took a card/ present to my Mum - left it on the door handle.

We've stayed in for the last 11 days, bar one quick walk around the local park with my son a couple of days ago (no one else around as it was early). We have been a bit poorly so we've just been lounging around for some time too. I have had WhatsApp video calls with my parents, and today my husband's family organised a big Zoom call so we all had a chat and a laugh. Smile

I had to go out and buy a new cooker because ours conked out yesterday 😳 Other than that no, the kids haven't been out since school on Friday apart from isolated walk in the woods near us.
