Anyone actually stayed at home?

Has anyone just stayed home, not gone out anywhere today?

I’ve kept myself to myself, been back to my empty home (caring for Df) to collect a couple of things

Not been anywhere else, no shopping, no going to the park etc

It’s not easy, but I want to keep safe

We've been in, apart from 30 mins today where I took the dc to a car park behind where we live, so they could ride their bikes, as I knew it would be deserted.
I've also gone out briefly to drop items with friends who are self isolating, but items left on door step, and talking was done from the end of their garden paths...

We went for a walk today - chose a less known location on purpose - it was busier than normal but the majority were keeping their distance - yesterday we went to the park to play football - again came into close contact with no one

Mostly. Yesterday had to take the car for new tyres fitting. Had a walk round the block this morning with kids on their bikes (quiet streets, didn't come across anyone else). Have to take the car for MOT tomorrow (hence tyres) but will then not be going anywhere if we can help it.

I went for a walk this morning, just 20 minutes to blow the cobwebs away we have a road around our estate with no drives or houses plus a walking track so it is quite easy to avoid coming within 2m of the few other people I encountered although it did mean taking evasive action it wasn’t hard. Will be doing the same every day for as long as we are allowed as this keeps my back from seizing up, especially important as I won’t be able to get any physio.

DH walked to town to the supermarket as we had run out of milk, went after the morning rush and said sit was quite empty but well stocked in most areas.

Furthest I've been since Tuesday 5pm when I got in from work has been the front garden wall to pick up a delivery after the driver had got back in his vehicle. So 4 foot from my front door.

Got at least 12 more weeks of this assuming the wheezing gets better

Wish they'd done the 'serious conditions stay at home' a week earlier.

I stayed home all day.
Will be going food shopping tomorrow, as I do every Monday, on my own. And then not going out for the rest of the week unless it is for a walk.
It's pretty depressing but better than the alternative.

I took DS2 to work and then went to see my Mum. DS1 came to visit and then I picked DS2 up again.

I've made two trips to the supermarket and a couple of walks around the block in the past four days.
Even going to the supermarket makes me severely jumpy now. If I could stop that I would.

My husband went to collect a new printer so we can print off all the school stuff, me and the kids came home from school friday and I don't intend to go out again until work on Thursday. Although I hope we are closed by then. I work in an opticians and we are inundated with people coming in to browse spectacles and have tests. We have had people turn up for a test, making the most of not being at work due to self isolation!
There is a sign on the door asking only the patient to come in but people seem to be unable to collect a replacement contact lens without their spouse and kids in tow. I understand if it was just one parent with the kids but two parents! They could easily wait outside. We offer to post lenses but patients want to come in. How we are meant to practice social distancing when we are in a small enclosed space I just don't know.
Please, if you have functional spectacles and no problems please put off buying new glasses, or at least don't bring the whole family.

I shopped for a few items at Tesco at 7am yesterday.
I drove the track at a nature reserve yesterday afternoon (you are not allowed out of the car on the track at any time of year) and today I drove past MIL and shouted/waved conversation from the car window to her front door (about 10 metres) for a few minutes. The rest of the time I, and the rest of household, have been indoors with no visitors.
Tomorrow I want to go out early for some milk, then we'll be in all day. I am working overnight (healthcare) sleeping Tuesday then working again overnight. We'll reassess the situation once I've had a kip on Wednesday but until then the rest of the household are all indoors.

Walk on Friday, hour long walk in a glen yesterday, similar today. Dropped Mother’s Day present round and stayed on front path for a chat. Three shops.

Haven’t been in close contact with anyone except husband, but needed to be out of the house and the garden,

I left to ho dons good shop today and took presents and cards to mil - dropped at door and we spoke about 4m apart. My Dh and kids haven't left the house since Friday when they got in from school and as they are now all off there is no plan to leave at all.

ActuallyI lie, dh walked over to our garage to put some thing away and get the steps out to put things in the garage. I jokingly asked him who gave him permission to leave the perimeter of our property (our garage isn't attached to the house).

I've opened the front door twice since Monday evening.
Once to pick up DS2s PE kit the friend who dropped our school learning packs left for us (no idea if we will ever get DS1s), and once to pick up the bag of food shopping left by a friend.
Roll on the 31st. Cant wait for a trip round Asda!

Been at home with my husband and toddler since last Friday. We all had symptoms of corona since last Saturday but now completely recovered. I am a freelancer and my work was put on hold two weeks ago, my husband will work from home for the foreseeable future. We’re really lucky he is able to do that. We’re isolating for at least another week and then will be avoiding people as much as possible. A nice side effect is we’re actually calling and FaceTiming with friends and family a lot more than before. We have lovely neighbours who left some milk and bread on our door step today. They’ve decided to isolate from now on, but not fully quarantined as nobody is sick in their house (thankfully)

I haven't left the house for a week. Missed seeing my DM today but don't want to put her or anyone else at risk.

I had an operation last week, so yes, I’ve been indoors for a few days, as have my dc. Luckily we live in the middle of nowhere and it was sunny today so they have been out in the garden and they went for a walk without seeing anyone else. Bit grim long term, but better than the alternative.

I’ve got a four week sick note now too...looking forward to the rest with the kids off too...not!

I nipped out to local farm earlier to get a massive pack of spuds. Only saw the farmer & kept my distance.
Apart from that I havent been out in a week.
I'm finding it very difficult to manage my parents though. Both are insisting as the are under 65 (still in their 60s though) self isolating isn't meant for them. At least my teens are listening to me.

I'm in Ireland. I've been to the supermarket twice since March 12th. My kids haven't been beyond the garden.

No.

I've been for two runs, two walks, and to pick up a click and collect shop in past 4 days. All in v quiet places, keeping my distance from everyone else and not touching a thing (except the shopping).

I think lockdown is coming soon, so am trying to go out (safely) while I can.

Ten days so far. I'm lucky I live with DD and her partner, they do the shopping etc. We are all observing social distance advise though, even in our home.

Door knobs, hand rails, bathroom (shared) and kitchen ( also shared) wiped down with hot soapy water every couple of houts. Hand washing like crazy. We are doing everything we can not to get C19 and, if we are unlucky, not to pass it on..

I'm in the most vulnerable group, so such measures are becoming just another part of life.

I very rarely manage to get out anyway due to illness, but now I'm not leaving the flat at all (I'm high risk). DS is working from home, and DD is now off work on 80% pay until the pubs reopen. They had to go in yesterday to bleach down the whole place, empty the food fridges so they can be turned off ( we got some lovely free profiteroles, cakes, and other stuff) and have a staff meeting. None of us will be leaving the flat from now unless we absolutely have no other choice. I have a food delivery booked for 2nd April and another for 9th, so that won't be for a while I hope. Only concern now is my prescription medication, which I'm hoping to arrange to have delivered from this week on.

I have moved my exercise bike into the sitting room so that DD (19) can jump on it whenever she wants, because she will really struggle being less active. She has never been very good at being still. Also got some new toys in for the cat so she can run around a bit with him. No garden here, and our flat is a very small space for 3 adults to live in at the best of times, but it has to be done, so we will.

I still really hope that there's a lockdown soon, people are just not bothering to follow the suggestions and I do worry about what things will look like in hospitals in a couple of weeks.
