Why can't people obey the rules

GoofyIsACow · 22/03/2020 16:38

Yes

WhentheDealGoesDown1 · 22/03/2020 16:38

Maybe they should lockdown London and other cities. Our small town is very quiet and looks like most are in their houses judging by the parked cars on the streets I saw when I went to Iceland

ReceptacleForTheRespectable · 22/03/2020 16:39

Yes, definitely. Plus an order for everybody to return to their PRIMARY address with immediate effect.

Wholeheartedly agree

Tana433 · 22/03/2020 16:39

Yes. I fear its a bit late now but people are too selfish to do it on their own.

Mittens030869 · 22/03/2020 16:39

Yes there should be, people aren't taking it seriously or have the 'it won't happen to me' attitude

^This with bells on. If everyone took the threat seriously and only went out when necessary, and practised social distancing, lockdown wouldn't be necessary.

kirinm · 22/03/2020 16:39

Is this do we think a lockdown should happen or do we think they will announce a lockdown?

I don't think they will announce. I do think we need it.

Queenscake · 22/03/2020 16:39

Yes. Just saw two ladies came back from yoga class this morning

EnormousSexyCrimeUnit · 22/03/2020 16:41

Yes, absolutely.

Connie222 · 22/03/2020 16:41

Christ yes.

ChilliMayo · 22/03/2020 16:41

Yes

Whatthefoxgoingon · 22/03/2020 16:43

YES.

Because some people are stupid and utterly selfish.

Butterbear86 · 22/03/2020 16:44

But if we aren’t immune to cv even after having it - and ok we don’t know yet - then every time these measures are relaxed then everyone will just get it again.
Tbh living locked away is no life is it - 24 months of this?

Fev11 · 22/03/2020 16:45

Yes.

This is a pandemic not a bank holiday.

The West Country has been invaded by selfish idiots who show zero intention of social distancing.

Enforcement wouldn’t be needed if everyone just did their bit for society.

PointlessUsername · 22/03/2020 16:47

Yes

MrsTerryPratchett · 22/03/2020 16:50

Yes lock us down, bring the military and police in to enforce it.

I do think we need to isolate. It will save lives. I am very worried about the speed a democratic country goes from freedom to 'lock us in our houses without a crime or trial and enforce it with the military'. Allowing and in fact rushing towards martial law? Letting parliament speed legislation through without scrutiny?

Once they done it once for a good reason it's a lot easier to do it for a bad one.

Madhairday · 22/03/2020 16:50

Yes, and should have done already. Can't believe the amount of people completely ignoring advice Angry

@missmeg3leg thank you for all you are doing Flowers

AlexaShutUp · 22/03/2020 16:51

Handbag101 · 22/03/2020 16:52

Yes

IStressheadI · 22/03/2020 16:52

@Butterbear86

Are you kidding? Yes, there may be people who get it twice but at the moment it seems like most people will become immune.
Living inside for a while is better than killing peoples grandmas because you cant follow rules. Yes. It's going to suck being inside, but people are going to die unnecessarily if we don't collectively do it.
This attitude is exactly why we deserve to be locked down.
