yes. except to key workers

jayritchie · 22/03/2020 16:19

Yes - changed my mind in the last 24 hours. I've just been in Sainsburys - Winchmoor Hill. None of the staff seem to understand about keeping 1m apart and few of the shoppers do either. I saw staff chatting in groups with each other. Very worrying when you see the older people in there.

Interestingly the Argos branch in the store were well organised. I guess it can be done but too many people are too dim or absent minded.

Likewise I wanted to go for a walk. The streets I would have walked on are generally quiet but packed today. I doubt you would keep a 1 m distance however much you tried as everyone is mingling, plus family groups taking up the whole pavement.

Sad, but this is why we cant have nice things.

Flaxmeadow · 22/03/2020 16:19

Yes

NellyGrace · 22/03/2020 16:19

No

Figgygal · 22/03/2020 16:20

Yes

Butterbear86 · 22/03/2020 16:20

No.
Won’t help.
Outcome will still be the same.
People in lockdown will die - can’t access medical care, suicide, domestic violence.
Everyone will be poor and economy screwed.

And the outcome will still be the same.

Figgygal · 22/03/2020 16:20

I’ve said yes I don’t want it to happen but feels sadly inevitable

Mittens030869 · 22/03/2020 16:20

It's very sad to have to say it but yes. We have to stop this virus spread.

Rosehip10 · 22/03/2020 16:21

Yes - behaviour in outer London this weekend has been obscene.

SpyApp · 22/03/2020 16:21

On the evidence of today's stupidity yes.

P1nkHeartLovesCake · 22/03/2020 16:21

No because a free country should never be locked down

Cerealkillers · 22/03/2020 16:21

DeadBod · 22/03/2020 16:23

Yes to a lockdown - and the outcome will not be the same if we don't Confused

ChequerBoard · 22/03/2020 16:23

Yes, the alternative is unthinkable.

But we also need to TEST, TRACK, TRACE why why why are we not doing this. We are flying blind through this....

DramaAlpaca · 22/03/2020 16:24

Yes

fussychica · 22/03/2020 16:24

Yes unfortunately because so many people are so fucking stupid that they can't do what they've been asked so they have to be forced.

covetingthepreciousthings · 22/03/2020 16:24

Yes absolutely and if they don't announce one today I think I might cry out of despair Sad it's gone on too long and people aren't listening. We should have had restrictions 2 weeks ago if not longer.

itwasalovelydreamwhileitlasted · 22/03/2020 16:25

Fucking muppets everywhere out and about.

BillyAndTheSillies · 22/03/2020 16:27

Yes.
ASAP. The worst disservice that the government did was to tell us this was just like flu. People are not taking it seriously enough.
