Yes. People aren't listening

PenguinBlizzard · 22/03/2020 16:53

Yes! Soon

Campervan69 · 22/03/2020 16:55

Yes

LaurieFairyCake · 22/03/2020 16:56

Yes

I want a curfew for people under 16 too.

Mittens030869 · 22/03/2020 16:56

The government has done its best to avoid lockdown. Nobody actually wants it to happen. But the news from Italy and Spain is heartbreaking, we have to do all we can to prevent the same happening here.

SavageBeauty73 · 22/03/2020 16:58

Yes.

My local Farmers market was on today. Packed. Pictures on social media at tourist spots. I despair.

ohmysoul · 22/03/2020 17:00

Yes. Unfortunately people can't be trusted to do the sensible thing of their own free will.

BertieDrapper · 22/03/2020 17:01

Yes purely because the mass population of the UK are absolute idiots.

"I got bored after a few days isolation"

"No one can make me stay in"

Are just two of the idiotic quotes I'm come across recently. I live in a seaside town and the seafront is heaving.

Absolute morons of the highest order ...

shockthemonkey · 22/03/2020 17:01

Are you asking "should we", or "will we" ?

Zena1973 · 22/03/2020 17:02

@LaurieFairyCake 100% agree!! I xannot believe the stupidity of parents allowing their children to arrange meet ups and hang out even after the drastic decision to close schools down!! Parents and children are treating it as an extended summer holiday!! I've even heard about a paramedic parent actually telling their daughter to go out and enjoy yourself while you can!! I mean what chance do we stand if an actual paramedic is saying that!!!

MigginsMrs · 22/03/2020 17:02

Yes

BadEyeBri · 22/03/2020 17:02

Yes

ChequerBoard · 22/03/2020 17:03

Yes (still)

Those who say it won't make a difference, what's wrong with you? Surely it's not hard to understand that our NHS has a finite capacity and that if everyone gets sick at the same time, many many more of them will die because we do not have enough ITU beds, ventilators or trained staff to treat them.

Stay home and save lives, it's not that hard.

Number3or4 · 22/03/2020 17:03

No, until the government can sort out testing people. Especially for nhs workers. We are self isolating and not babies, we are adults. When there is a need people can self isolate.

Snowflakes1122 · 22/03/2020 17:03

Yes!!! Too many idiots allowing kids to play out with friends and people going out to the beaches and seaside towns etc. The photos are mind blowing of the crowds-they are fucking it up for all of us Angry

ruby2019missyou · 22/03/2020 17:03

Yes

VivaLeBeaver · 22/03/2020 17:03

Just said on the news that some pubs in Scotland have openly said they won’t close until they are legally forced to do so.

Butterbear86 · 22/03/2020 17:04

I’m staying in Istress I haven’t been going out.
But genuinely I can’t believe that it’s going to be any different when we come out of it. How can it be?
Living inside forever. That’s what you are basically saying.

Gettingnowherefast · 22/03/2020 17:05

Yes

IsAnybodyListening · 22/03/2020 17:05

Yes.

littlemissminor · 22/03/2020 17:06

100% yes.

Notonthestairs · 22/03/2020 17:07

Yes - we need to slow the rate of infection and give our NHS a chance of saving as many lives as possible. It's going to be shit.

Goawayquickly · 22/03/2020 17:07

Yes

zafferana · 22/03/2020 17:08

Yes.

Though it pains me to say it, because I don't mind doing it voluntarily, but I hate the thought of HAVING to be stuck in my house. But there are too many people not taking it seriously.

A couple on my street have it. They are healthy and in their 50s. They have had a 'mild' case and have just holed up at home to recover. They have both had a miserable week of high temps, dry cough, feeling awful and now that their temps are subsiding they say they can both feel damage to their lungs.

Butterbear86 · 22/03/2020 17:08

But I ask again - how long for? Because if it’s two years I think everyone will be broken by the end of it.
