Angryrant why is he raging?

WhyNotMe40 · 16/03/2020 12:33

@buttonmoonb4tea did you have a cough and for how long? I've only had a cough since Saturday so surprised it is subsiding already. Thanks

Angryrant55 · 16/03/2020 12:34

PARLY - 'This is because Cobra is meeting this afternoon.'

It will be finished by 5.30 as Hancock is addressing the commons then.

MarshaBradyo · 16/03/2020 12:35

South Korea are in the other side of their peak I believe. Was watching a very competent woman on Marr show.

I do think we tried to contact trace but it got out of control very quickly.

What differences would there be? We travelled from hotspots too much.

Angryrant55 · 16/03/2020 12:35

@Blueberryham.
He thinks we need to do much much more testing and lockdowns.

Beebityboo · 16/03/2020 12:35

I have that heavy weird feeling in my chest as well as a pounding headache for six days now. DD1 has similar symptoms. Does it always progress to a cough if it is Coronavirus? neither of us have a bad one.
DD2 however has a horrible cough and stuffed nose but she's 4 so could be different for her.

Andrew Neil - 'Bit by bit French airports being closed down. T1 at Nice, T2 Orly. Closing tomorrow.'

BeyondMymymymyCorona · 16/03/2020 12:38

Purely speculation, but I wonder if the heavy feeling/no substantial cough/feeling rough but not that rough is the milder strain? As we know they are both circulating but afaik we aren't specifically testing for which strain it is?

Blueberryham · 16/03/2020 12:38

I have a feeling that the rest of the world are looking at uk and angry that we aren’t trying to lockdown and contain quicker. We are purposely letting it out into the general population. And this will eventually affect the rest of the world. The whole world needs to be in this together in a way

buttonmoonb4tea · 16/03/2020 12:38

@WhyNotMe40 yes I had the cough since last Monday. It was worse in the evenings and that's when the breathlessness and tight chest was worse, that started to subside within a few days and then returned after a day. I'm still coughing randomly but not like I was a week ago.

Blueberryham · 16/03/2020 12:39

I am angry that the uk seem to be using children almost like guinea pigs. Allowing them to be infected to create the herd immunity. But without any proper knowledge of the long term implications on their health

colouringinpro · 16/03/2020 12:40

Beebity that sounds like a virus that my friends family had last week and I've developed today. Big headache. Pretty sure its not CV

WhyNotMe40 · 16/03/2020 12:40

Yes I have had a headache for days as well but I did put that down to anxiety

malpa · 16/03/2020 12:40

sorry not opening either. Opens up but doesn’t expand only shows my Home location. Thanks for trying for me appreciate that.

@Coquohvan Hm, strange. So you can see the map but can't interact with it?

Okay, I've found another link. Third time lucky!

drive.google.com/open?id=1yCPR-ukAgE55sROnmBUFmtLN6riVLTu3&usp=sharing

Is the interactive map working for everyone else?

Calmonthesurfacebut · 16/03/2020 12:41

A close friend who lives in Salisbury has just told me that there is a huge amount of work being done at a place very near her on the virus, it’s spread etc. There is input from all over the world on modelling etc. So stuff is going on.

I can’t say how she know this I’m afraid, but she said it’s not a gamble it is very specific science. Confused

uk.yahoo.com/news/coronavirus-britons-fine-selfisolation-prison-092414236.html

How does that tie in with not testing people unless they are hospitalised?

colouringinpro · 16/03/2020 12:42

Hmmm I also have the heavy weight on chest feeling...

ofwarren · 16/03/2020 12:43

@aspergersmum yes I see that too. Those men are blind sheep who won't have anything bad said against the Tories.
I don't care about someone's politics. There is nothing wrong with questioning your government.

Alkaloise · 16/03/2020 12:43

Because if they're well enough to resist isolation, they wouldn't be ill enough to be hospitalised?

Reastie · 16/03/2020 12:43

Malpa I can see the map but not cases on the links

typewrriter12 · 16/03/2020 12:43

Will teachers strike if forced to work ? Is it fair to them?

Angryrant55 · 16/03/2020 12:44

Andrew Neil - This from French newspaper: Authorities will impose draconian limitations on movement from Wednesday this week, according to two reliable sources close to government. It will involve a prohibition on all movements outside the home except for one shopping trip each day. The police and the army will be mobilised to enforce the rules and a curfew will be imposed from 18:00, the sources said. The lockdown will last a minimum of five weeks, according to the same sources.

Why do I feel riots in France are coming with people being shot to kill - country is a tinderbox.

BeyondMymymymyCorona · 16/03/2020 12:44

I had it a few weeks back, I'm fairly sure it's not CV as it would have been way too early

colouringinpro · 16/03/2020 12:45

@Helenj1977 @WhyNotMe40
ok so since yesterday I've had pounding headache. Feeling ill. Chest feels sore and heavy, slight sore throat. No fever. only ocassional cough.

Any thoughts?
