Greenland have a case. Literally no where is safe.

1happyhippie · 16/03/2020 14:59

Are the uk numbers reported on sky from Scotland only?
Are the rest still to come in? I am confused 🤷🏻‍♀️
171 up from yesterday, that’s the number just from Scotland?

WhoWants2Know · 16/03/2020 15:01

I think Scotland has 171 cases in total, but that is also the number of new positive tests in the UK?

Helenj1977 · 16/03/2020 15:03

They tweeted that the results would be late. Maybe gov.uk put the wrong figure??

Coquohvan · 16/03/2020 15:04

Flumpwump · 16/03/2020 15:05

Are the govt announcing or doing anything today?

Angryrant55 · 16/03/2020 15:06

Some non hospital tests pre Thursday results didn't come back to yesterday - Kate Osborne MP was in that situation.

Sunshinesky1981 · 16/03/2020 15:10

@Flumpwump..... Having a meeting, washing hands, wondering why people are panicking, trying to find Boris a comb, trying to think of any advice or press quotes they can give that makes it sound like they are on top of this Grin

SubjectMatterExpert · 16/03/2020 15:11

Does these mean NO new deaths in England? Confused

WhoWants2Know · 16/03/2020 15:12

Didn't Wales announce a death earlier today? So it must be at least 37. But BBC is still reporting 35.

The delay worries me.

MadameF · 16/03/2020 15:12

In France we are in confinement at home for 45 days as from tomorrow 😟

namechangemania · 16/03/2020 15:13

On other days where there have been no new deaths they keep the previous figure on the site. On Todays have they have completely removed it

Astrabees · 16/03/2020 15:14

How can they give information on numbers? I know of several most probable cases in self isolation at present.

MadameF · 16/03/2020 15:14

The UK has the same number of cases and deaths as we had inFrance 6 days ago...,

Helenj1977 · 16/03/2020 15:14

@MadameF Be grateful your Government cares about you. We're being left out to dry in the UK x

Helenj1977 · 16/03/2020 15:17

#wheresboris Anyone know what time he'll bother to speak to us??

Fraggle45 · 16/03/2020 15:17

4.45 according to the local paper

missclimpson · 16/03/2020 15:18

Any idea about food shopping MadameF? We are stocked up at the moment, but will need some stuff in a week or so. Just wish we had internet shopping with deliveries.

Ventilatorshortage · 16/03/2020 15:19

The a and b scenario sounds good.

But with no NHS back up, beds access etc we should all just be trying to stop catching it.

Sunshinesky1981 · 16/03/2020 15:20

Number of cases

As of 9am on 16 March 2020, 44,105 people have been tested in the UK, of which 42,562 were confirmed negative and 1,543 were confirmed as positive.

This was off the GOV.UK website so I take it they are the figures for Wales ,Scotland ,Ireland and England? Even though they tweeted that England numbers were delayed?

Exochord · 16/03/2020 15:21

Shocking if they have stopped reporting deaths! If there were zero deaths they’d be crowing from the rooftops. Obviously the news is very bad.

Fartintheloft · 16/03/2020 15:24

On the sky news app it says that there is a delay in reporting the deaths.

danni0509 · 16/03/2020 15:25

I dread to think of the number.

CrapTVAddict · 16/03/2020 15:28

The 45 day confinement for France are you allowed out for essential food?
