Face flannels, use them, soak them in disinfectant then stick them in the washing machine. If you don't have a spare 100 flannels like me...cut up an old bath towel.

The toilet paper aisle in our local supermarket was bare today with the exception of a random pack of worzits

From this, u assume Wotzitz (or maybe crisps in general) are the answer to this urgent need for anal hygiene

Tissues
Kitchen roll
Maternity pads (10 for a £1 own brand)
Old tea towels / towels (cut up) or flannels. Soak in bleach after shits and then in the machine
Socks / knickers / pants (again soak the shitty ones in something before machine washing)
Shower + soap

Quite easy to find a substitute for bog roll actually, and not sure why people have gone so mad for it?

I have enough odd socks here to last us a good few months even if we threw them away. I have a massive bag in the bottom of my wardrobe incase the pair turns up. This bag has moved house with us twice and at the bottom are probably lots of socks that would no longer fit my DCs.

Just make sure you don't chuck kitchen roll, newspaper down the bog. The last thing you need is to be stuck in the house with a blocked toilet.

My DD works for a book publisher and has a house full of random books. She can't get loo roll anywhere so plans to rip the pages out the very worst books she has and use them. The rest she plans to send to friends and family if they have to self isolate.

Surely that’s what junk mail and free newspapers are for?

Socks are at the opposite end of the aisle from loo roll, will transfer some onto empty shelves tomorrow. Might see if they have whole corn on the cob, as read that the husks are good to use. If you have a glut, you can dry and just moisten before use 😂
