This is why closing the schools arent being shut. People still arent taking this seriously. I have very little sympathy for this person. She justifies herself still going on holiday, stating that as she works in a GP surgery she is more likely to catch it at work than in Malta. It completely escapes her that shes being asked to self isolate to stop her spreading it to the people in Malta ffs.

Apparently Aldi are only allowing you to buy 4 items of the same product at once. So only 4 tins of baby food / pet food etc .

My local Sainsburys Local is only allowing one packet of toilet roll/kitchen roll/tissues etc

Ofsted's initial tweet was despicable. It bascially said 'business as usual, but we will factor in the current crisis (or similar).'

I dread to think what’s to come!

I really want to know why there is no conversation at all by NHS, govt. or media about children/teens with asthma. This is spreading like wildfire across the globe & kids with asthma are completely fine? What about younger people who are immunosuppressed? All the focus is on the elderly. I would like more info on other groups that have caught it. They don't spell out exactly who is in the high risk groups because of how huge the number is.

I think there is a lot we are not being told - especially in regards to how this virus can affect the body. What happened to all the reports of people having seizures?

We've been given so many advantages. Now they have exhausted octors and officials in Italy urging us to heed their advice.
What part of that don't people understand?

Lux my teen has asthma and I'm deeply concerned yet expected to send him in?

Apparently when my mum went shopping the other day (Sainsburys I think it was) some lady took 20 bottles of bleach to the till. Sales Assistant said you can only have 2-she wasn't best please but SA said it's 2 or none! Good on her. Selfishness of some people, probably cleared the shelf completely, who cares about anyone else right? Take as much as you can get and screw everyone else.

Perhaps supermarkets need to Impose a new rule. For each additional toilet roll pack you get your toilet roll price gets mulitplied by 3x,6x,9x etc.

All proceeds above the usual selling price go to funding the NHS.

I wonder if they’re using the NHS111 helpline as their figures for who may have it.

I went on line today, as I have a funny feeling in my chest when I breath and have a tickly cough now and again. I have t got a temperature, but feel sort of chilly and tingly.

It asked for my postcode and I only answered to new dry cough and said 7 days isolation! The fact I gave my postcode would pinpoint my house as one of three.

I was in Uni on Monday, which be just heard has stopped face to face sessions, so don’t go in. I feel fine though. It will be interesting to see what tomorrow brings.

Dr John Ashford (or Ash something, I missed the name) on c4 just now is rather angry. Says it's political and very narrow science. Presenter got quite exasperated with him. Not reassuring at all.
