Measures to speed up funerals include:

• Removing need for jury inquests

• Enabling health professionals other than doctors to sign off cause of death certificates

Any advice on what do with the self-isolating child's twin? She is asymptomatic. Send to school as normal?

Really don’t like the sound of care standards getting lowered to allow for staff shortages. If it’s done, needs to be overturned as soon as is possible.

I would hope the lowering of care standards is not long term.

But it is an area that is already short staffed. They simply not be able to manage.

Understand ministers are drawing up plans that could see mass gatherings banned – potentially from as early as next weekend.

Not a change of heart on the science, sources insist. But they're concerned about the burden big events put on health services & the police.

I can't believe what I'm reading. It's the stuff of fiction. My own little world looks as normal but things are far from normal. I'm mentally and practically preparing to have the children off school from Monday.

Never mind whole schools. One year group in my school is 450 students.

Italy is not testing non hospital cases any-more the death rate is more 1.5-4.%
