Apparently she attended a meeting at No 10 with Johnson on Thursday.

chomalungma · 10/03/2020 22:36

Not good at all. I'm not a Conservative but we do need a functioning Government at the moment and Parliament needs to be open.

It's the Budget tomorrow

Boz has been self isolating since he was elected, barely seen the blighter. Planning for the plague to come, no doubt. Or, hopefully, someone is.

Worriedmom2020 · 10/03/2020 22:39

Didn't Boris just go visiting flood victims? Just what they need

LaurieFairyCake · 10/03/2020 22:40

Bloody hell Shock

I imagine they'll all get tested, and if they test negative, I presume they can carry on as usual? Not sure what happens if half the cabinet test positive!

It will be interesting to see how many MPs turn up for the budget - if it still goes ahead?

DifficultPifcultLemonDifficult · 10/03/2020 22:43

The government will probably reassess and take massive precautions now. This shit is about to get real now its physically affecting them and isn't just some numbers on a bit of paper.

chomalungma · 10/03/2020 22:43

Reporting it now so it can be moved to the CORRECT forum

Seriously - a GOVERNMENT MINISTER has been affected and you want it moved?

This is serious stuff.

What's up with the thread police? Hmm

heath48 · 10/03/2020 22:44

@longwayoff,Boris was at Westminster Abbey yesterday and met loads of people!!! That is just one event he has attended,yes he did meet flood victims as well.If that is what you consider “self-isolaating” give your head a wobble.

This is not a joking matter!!!

Lycidas · 10/03/2020 22:45

@Shinycat

Blimey someone’s got a stick up their arse.

Shineynew · 10/03/2020 22:45

It’s not ‘serious stuff’. She is a human with a virus. The huge likelihood is she will recover.

@Shinycat

Back at you . I have reported it to stay as this is a thread about our Government.

Unless you think the running of this country isn't important and people don't need to know this stuff?

Shinycat

Hmm really?

Moomin8 · 10/03/2020 22:47

Johnson will probably say she still needs to come to work. Dickhead that he is...

chomalungma · 10/03/2020 22:47

t’s not ‘serious stuff’. She is a human with a virus. The huge likelihood is she will recover

It's about the fact that Government ministers will have been exposed - and should in theory self isolate.

Which is serious.

OP posts:
poshme · 10/03/2020 22:47

She's not in the cabinet. She's just a minister.

Beesisabuzzin · 10/03/2020 22:48

I'd imagine she sits in the COBRA meetings. What a nightmare.

Cacaca · 10/03/2020 22:48

@chomalungma serious - maybe, but people are capable of reading the news themselves. We do not need yet more threads on this.

zigzagbetty · 10/03/2020 22:48

What is with all the aggressive move this thread messages at the moment! It's not like it isn't relevant to everyone.

Wishforsnow · 10/03/2020 22:48

Shinecat sounds like you have issues!

Dontdragyourfeet · 10/03/2020 22:49

@chomalungma but what's your aibu?
