Interesting that the location of new cases is being withheld. By contrast, in HK every new case is disclosed daily in a press release, including all relevant known whereabouts of the person, and where they live (i.e. which apartment block, not personal address). No names obviously, because of patient confidentiality.
There is an online maintained list of all places where infected people are known to have been prior to diagnosis (including hotels, churches/temples, shopping malls).
As of this week, the government has also published a list of all the addresses where people have been ordered to self quarantine (ie those who have not been diagnosed yet, but are considered at risk). That list literally contains thousands of addresses, organised by district, though I’m not sure how often it is updated.
It’s pretty informative to see how close to home some of the cases are.
And of course, schools are shut until 20 April at least. The number of cases certainly seems to be slowing down for now.🤞
