Now we have what looks like a peace to be celebrated why are people still going to march for Palestine? The genocide has stopped in their opinion so shouldn't they be at least joyful or if that is not the case what do they really want? Do they want to keep marching until the Israeli state is no more?

Incidentally, you know that the terrorists that are killing other terrorists are Palestinians? Hamas are Palestinian. The people they are executing are Palestinian. But no, they are just 'militia' and 'terrorists' and nothing to do with Palestinians.

Every single country in the world has evil people who would sell their grannies for a profit - Netanyahu‘s crew and the heads of Hamas are all cut from that cloth. Some men may even justify joining these gangs because they get food for their families - having food insecurity and bombs being dropped randomly makes people do awful things. According to Sky News the latest militia funded by Israel have a compound that over 3,000 people have moved into - it is a collection of villas that do not get bombed by Israel and have food, cars and weapons brought into them. If you worried about your family being bombed or starving you might join a militia and commit crimes against your own people. I would like to think I would keep my morals but I have obviously never been in that situation. People do shitty things they would not otherwise do when they are in shitty situations- it happens every time there is a war - obviously I do not agree with it but they do it because they are human, not because they are Palestinian.

You look at Israeli settlers attacking Palestinians and also attacking Israeli peace activists and burning out their cars. Are their actions a reflection on all Israelis? You know they are Israeli. What about the IDF soldiers who boasted about killing kids - are they representative of every Israeli? They are also Israeli. The men who sodomised a Doctor to death in an Israeli prison are Israeli. I could go on and on and on with this list.

To some people it's as if Hamas hasn't even existed this past two years. Now they're quite happy for Hamas to kill Palestinians so long as those Palestinians can be labelled 'Israeli-backed militia' instead of Palestinian.

No they attacked actual civilians. The viral video shared by the IDF of “Hamas” shooting at civilians and looting aid was proven to be the militia armed by Israel. They were also proven to be behind the attacks on aid trucks. They are run by a criminal with links to ISIS so really not innocent civilians.

I guess it becomes a bit awkward for the fervently pro-Palestinian to actually identify which Palestinians they mean as the country heads for a potential civil war. Hamas have always been separate to Palestinians, now the militias are too. But it is Palestinians that Hamas are protecting by executing the militia, while it is Palestinians who are being harmed when attacked by the militia who are anti-Hamas.

So what does a genuine don't back Hamas Palestinian look like? Anyone brave enough to stand up would be labelled a collaborator and then executed and people here will immediately agree they are Israeli backed. The poor anti Hamas Palestinians cannot win....

How are Hamas/Palestinians supposed to run a functional state exactly when the second they get the chance they resort to massacring each other, and when they are done with that they go back to planning how they will massacre jews? Egypt built a massive wall to keep them out for a reason. I would say fine leave them to it to live and govern how they want, but that's not really feasible when they are continually planning attacks on their neighbour.

I saw a Channel 4 News report of the recently released detainees, and it broke my heart to see one of them blinded as a result of his treatment in Israeli custody, due to the blows to his head. He was held without charge, and no evidence of criminal activity whatsoever. Finally back 'home' (now just a tent) with his mother and brother; but can't see them.
Imagine the outrage if Israeli hostages had returned blinded? There'd be international outrage (quite rightly). But, the Palestinians sufferings often go unnoticed by the wider world. I don't know how much more they can be expected to take. Poor souls.

No the Israeli hostages were sexually assaulted, raped, starved and subjected to continue psychological torture. There is also the fact the hostages of 7/10 were innocent of any crime whilst those in Israeli jails were criminals.

If someone who commits terrorist atrocities is perhaps not given a perfectly smooth time in incarceration then my heart does not exactly bleed.

Why do you assume that because I would like an honest conversation about Palestine, including the terrorists and militia groups that live it, that I support Israel?

Perhaps you should understand that trying to absolve Hamas of any responsibility for what is going on in Palestine, and now trying to paint any Palestinians they execute as basically Israel and therefore fair game(!) is not helpful

If You search the internet, you’ll find a video of a Hamas terrorist trying to fire an RPG at a tracked IDF troop carrier, which then runs him over. He is in civilian clothing. Also, if there’s a body in the street, the IDF are not going to get out of their vehicle to move it, in case the body is booby trapped, or it’s an ambush.

Add in a bit of hysteria typical of the Pro-Pallies, and this is where the “Tanks running over civilians!!!! Outrageous!!!!” comes from.
