Yes because a certain poster keeps stating that Israel is a colonizer like the US for example which is not true however much it is repeated. The Jewish people were indigenous to the area which was then known as Judea and Samaria. (Kingdom of Israel).

And was there anyone else there?

As I have already replied to you Google is your friend.

is plenty of evidence that the indigenous Jewish people lived in Israel long ago.

Did anyone else live there then?

Or were they all alone?

What is wrong with you? Of course they didnt live alone? Just as they dont live alone now. Israel is a diverse nation.

No it doesnt mean nothing. Israel is incredibly important to the Jewish people. To say that is grotesque.

The fact that most most Palestinians are refugees, and the fact that nobody can get into or out of Gaza/West Bank without Israeli approval and permission, combines with the fact that Israel has built walls around Gaza and West Bank, the fact that Israel controls all services including post, banking, telecommunications and water, the fact that Israel can kill 13,000 children without any sanction would indeed suggest that Israel is, in fact, a colonizer.

Within the 62 thousand people, there are families where every generation has been wiped out, from people who still had the keys to their former homes from which they were evicted decades ago, to newborn babies.

Right.

Therefore, Israel does not have a special claim to that land.

Palestinians also have the right to it.

I don't think Palestinians call the land Israel. To them it is Palestine.

Who said Palestinians didnt have a right to a homeland in the region. Nobody. But calling Jewish people colonisers you are invalidating their right to self determination and their historic roots. Have you heard of the 2 state solution? That recognises the rights of the two main groups - and also others in the region, Druze, christians etc.

Unfortunately for them, they do not have a friend who will give them 4 billion US dollar per year, the most advanced weapons in the world along with nuclear capability to boost their claim.

They call it home, their home, the land they have lived in for generations, just as important to them as it is to the Israelis, doesn't matter one iota who was there first, don't you agree?

No they just get unlimited amounts from Iran and Qatar etc. As I said before this is not a competition.

Too many people forget that this land is home to many different people.

Yes I agree, what's your point? You're the one continuously pointing out the Jewish people were there first, I'm pointing out it's who is there now that's important

Come now.

We know by now that Israel has used the "two state solution" over the last forty years to delay while they settle more Palestinian land and humiliate and grind down the Palestinian population that is left.

One state for all - bring it back to the glory days.

That solves the right to return and all other thorny issues.

The only problem with that is Israel does not get its theocracy, and it would mean one vote per person.

As I said before this is not a competition.

Of course it is a competition - one to the death.

Otherwise we would not have these terrible wars and so much horror.

Iran and Qatar do not give Hamas 4 billion US dollars per year.

If they did, Hamas would have weapons of war like the Israelis.

Exactly right. So why then does Israel claim the right to most of it and refuse to share?

The majority of the money Israel receives is for the Iron Dome protection. without which they would have been annihilated. They consider the safety of their citizens of paramount importance, unlike Hamas.

The majority of money they received lately has been used to annihilate their neighbours unfortunately

This is up for debate at this point.

All governments are supposed to have the countries interests at heart.

Israel had the misfortune to have a criminal as the elected head of government when this war broke out. The war kept him out of jail and out of legal bankruptcy, but it has cost the citizens of Israel a lot of good will and good faith around the world. People were sickened by the animal brutality on display.

The encouragement of the young soldiers in the IDF to dehumanize and debase their opponents, shoot women and children, jeer and sneer at human suffering, and to post it on social media will have consequences.

Nobody can look at the destruction of Gaza and the devastation of her people and not be heartsick.

We see this even when the State of Israel tries to hide most of it by not letting journalists in.
