From the article there is absolutely no conclusive evidence that children in Gaza are being deliberately targeted by IDF snipers.

It would be totally illogical for them to do that as it would rightly bring even more condemnation and pressure upon Israel.

Just a thought, but the various terrorist groups in Gaza have killed Israeli soldiers and commandeered tanks and equipment. It is not beyond the realms of possibility that they are killing their own, even children, to make it look like the IDF did it to further their cause and bring about international condemnation. It’s not like they haven’t done it before and it’s absolutely horrific.

The British, who had take over the mandate for Palestins after the Ottomans were defeated were desperate to get out as they were caught in the middle between Palestinian Arabs and Palestinian Jews. So they asked the UN to find a solution. The UN proposed a partion plan which was voted on and approved by the UN member states. The Palestinian Jews accepted the plan but the Arabs rejected it (because they wanted it all). Civil war intensifies between Palestinian Arabs and Palestinian Jews. British decide to leave anyway and do so in May 1948. The day after they leave, the Palestinian zionists declared the state of israel, interestingly palestinian Arabs don't declare a state of palestine.
So state of israel declared by Palestinian Zionists, now Israelis, and country invaded by armies from 5 neighbouring countries. Jordan takes west bank, Egypt takes gaza strip. Jews are 100% ethnically cleansed or massacred from areas held by Arabs. Yes, the displacement was far worse for Arabs because they lost the war they started. Many ran away, some were forcibly displaced but the Arabs did the exact same thing to Jews in the areas they held and then some. The Arabs who remained (20% of the population) became citizens of israel. Following the establishment of the state of israel there was mass dispacement of Jews from Arab countries, equal in number basically to palestinians displaced. Hth

There are reports from multiple international healthcare professionals that this is happening. I'm not sure what they would all have to gain by lying about it. Considering Israels refusal to allow independent observers into Gaza testimonials like those of International medics are incredibly important and all that we have at this time. I'm sure much more will come out if Israel ever decide to withdraw from Gaza but until then I chose to believe experienced professionals.

The whole region is an absolute shit show and much of the blame can be laid at the feet of the western imperial powers - Britain, France, Italy, Russia, the Ottomans, Austria-Hungary. From Afghanistan, to the Sinai, the horn of Africa, Persia, the Balkans, Crimea, Algeria. A Palestinian State was proclaimed 40 years later in 1988 by Palestine Liberation Organisation leader, Yasser Arafat, himself an Egyptian. Very interesting.

No they weren't. The Palestinian Jews supported the Brits until ww2 and even then supported them in the war effort.
Famously after the shameful 1939 white paper, Ben gurion said we shall fight the war as if there were no white paper and fight the white paper as if there were no war.
There was a Jewish (palestinian) legion fighting for the Brits.
