One country taking on so many terrorist organisations.

Or is it so many terrorist organisations constantly attacking Israel.

So many hate filled terrorists. Why don't they ever focus on their own people and a better life for them. Are they all raving mad.

They haven't been successful in defending themselves since 1948. Why is that? Because violence begets violence ,because all the parties involved don't want a two state solutions and never have, except maybe for Rabin and he was murdered by a Israeli extremist.
Meanwhile, innocents on both sides will carry on dying. It is shameful.

You conveniently forget the success of the Six Day War and the Yom Kippur War. Israel won both.

I'm just waiting for the Iran cheerleaders to rally on here

For sure there will be plenty in favour of the Iran attacks because they think Israel deserves everything it's getting. I honestly never thought that UK citizens would ever support Hamas & Hezbollah. Where was the outrage for all the horrific acts on 7th October?

Crazy isn't it. Western individuals align with a vile extreme terrorist regime. Poor women there have few rights.

@Auvergne63 You may well be right about some people on both sides not wanting a two-state solution. So I can’t help wondering why all your posts are so one-sided, always implying that Israel is the one in the wrong. Israel has not fired 8000 rockets into Lebanon in the past year, but Hezbollah has fired 8000 rockets from Lebanon into Israel. Yet I haven’t noticed you criticising them. (I apologise if I’m wrong.)

If Israel laid down all its weapons, if it even withdrew from the West Bank and Gaza, do you honestly believe that the surrounding countries would leave Israelis alone to just live in peace in the only majority-Jewish country in the world? I don’t.

Edited

This.

Some support the terrorist organisations. Its anyone but Israel.

What rot. Israel has been continuously attacked since its inception but not yet annihilated, despite that being the aim of 9 wars with multiple surrounding hostile countries and incessant terrorist attacks

Violence does begets violence, yes, if you don’t crush those who want to crush you because you have one hand tied behind your back due to international pressure and a fake victim narrative peddled by monstrous terrorists. Looks like Israel is done with it now and I hope they succeed in bringing peace to the ME by dismantling the terrorist organisations left unhindered to bring chaos and terror, and getting rid of their puppeteers in Iran to free its people.

Netanyahu’s address to the Iranian people was pretty inspiring I have to say.

No one wants any more innocent civilians to be collateral damage so I hope they heed the IDF’s warnings to leave unsafe areas.

Edited

It's strange how some people never call out terrorists, everything is the fault of Israel.

Do these people love chaos in the middle east, since terrorists never solve anything, never build anything, do nothing good for anyone. As long as the likes of hamas, hezbollah, the Houthis and Iran have so much power in the middle east, then more innocents will die. Obviously seems its what some want. They wouldn't all live happily ever after if Israel didn't exist since they are quite capable of wiping out their own various factions too and their own people.

This is what scares me currently. How women will be treated in the future. In my lifetime women's rights have really progressed but now we seem to be going backwards in time.

Indeed people banging the drum for countries that care little fir their own people is odd.

I agree. The narrative and the reality is very concerning

HelenHen · 03/10/2024 10:16

So let's just go kill them all? I can't say that women and children in gaza have been treated any better by Israeli forces. It's always women who get the worst of it.

Stop pretending that Israel are fighting some kind of feminist war here. That is not what is happening.

They don’t claim to be fighting a "feminist war". But it is a fact that the people they are fighting against treat women appallingly. Sorry if that doesn’t fit with the romantic, idealised view some people prefer.

How women are treated in those countries is a separate issue... and you can rest assured that I'm all over that too.

Can you point to the posters that have a romantic, idealised view of Hamas, Iran and Hezbollah?
I don't think these kind of unfounded statements benefit anyone

It was deleted from another thread earlier today but someone identifying as a white Protestant was cheering on Iran and said she knew who the ‘real terrorists’ were. I think their username was snakebite, something like that.

I'm not sure why you are referencing a post from another thread which was ultimately deleted? How is it relevant to this thread?

It’s an example of the romanticism that appears on this board.

Romanticism? Are you having a laugh? So if we speak out against Israel killing tens of thousands and displacing millions, we're not only stupid women, but now also romanticists?

There is no romanticism in dead women and children.
