One country taking on so many terrorist organisations.

Or is it so many terrorist organisations constantly attacking Israel.

So many hate filled terrorists. Why don't they ever focus on their own people and a better life for them. Are they all raving mad.

How many of those 10 were Hamas.

Actually a lot of people in ME are grateful for the actions of Israel over the last week. You don’t appear to have any idea of the level of suffering Hezbollah etc have inflicted on innocent civilians.
Iranians gathered outside the Israeli embassy in London to celebrate and thank Israel www.timesofisrael.com/pockets-of-revelry-at-nasrallah-killing-across-middle-east-including-in-syria-iran/amp/

Indeed.

Hezbollah are no heroes.

The question that perhaps should be asked if why don't these terrorist groups actually try to improve their own people, countries, why just hate? It leads to nothing good for anyone.

Why does Israel continue to seize Palestinian property in the West Bank?

mids2019 · 29/09/2024 18:39

I wonder how sustainable fighting on more than one fronts is but it's absolutely necessary. One good thing is that the U.S. And forces in place of their is any direct intervention from Iran and they obviously support Israel in terms of arms (the US made the bombs that took out the Hezbollah leadershio).

I think we should call spaces spaces and terrorists terrorists by the way. You could view the current action as an extension of the western war on terror that occurred after 9/11.

Or you could call it an extension of Western imperialism.

Or you could call genocide genocide.

I'm still baffled to this day why Jewish people are not protected more in this country, they are a true minority (less than 300,000) and truly under threat by the pro-Hamas contingent that make their feelings known on a weekly basis.

Do we not protect minorities anymore ?

All people are protected equally.

Or should be.

Daftasabroom · 29/09/2024 21:11

ImprobableSpy · 29/09/2024 20:14

There is only one state on this planet that protects Jewish people.

Israel is also committing genocide against Palestinians and has been since 1948.

Why are you so desperate to attack Israel and defend terrorist organisations funded by the Iranian regime? The Iranian government executed 249 people in the first 6 months of 2024. In 2023, they were responsible for 74per cent of all worldwide executions, 853 in total. Are you really defending a regime that executes hundreds of its own people?

Daftasabroom · 29/09/2024 21:15

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 29/09/2024 20:24

They don’t want better for their people- they hate anything that smells like democracy and western values. They are evil terrorist groups who, if they removed Israel and the Jewish people would move on to their next target. Bravo Israel for doing what the west is too chicken to do themselves!

western values would these be the same western values that include colonisation, persecution, displacement, massacre of Palestinians and Arabs?

That's such a pathetic straw man.

ImprobableSpy · 29/09/2024 21:22

Western values in this context might refer to no or little public appetite for state persecution of women, gay and trans people.

Is it better if you execute people that aren't your 'own' ?

“I asked the nurse, what’s the history? She said that they were brought in a couple of hours ago. They had sniper shots to the brain. They were seven or eight years old,” she said.
The Canadian doctor’s heart sank. These were not the first children treated by Alvi who she was told were targeted by Israeli soldiers, and she knew the damage a single high-calibre bullet could do to a fragile young body.
“They were not able to talk, paraplegic. They were literally lying down as vegetables on those beds. They were not the only ones. I saw even small children with direct sniper shot wounds to the head as well as in the chest. They were not combatants, they were small children,” said Alvi.

Israelis have been steadily invading Palestine, colonising Palestinian land, killing Palestinians and displacing Palestinian people for 100 years or more. Aided and abetted by Western nations.

Israel has openly implemented apartheid and unashamedly committed genocide on the Palestinian peoples.

It is getting worse not better.

On October 7th Hamas killed 1139 and kidnapped 250 Israelis. Obviously this was completely abhorrent but since then Israel has killed in the region of 43,000 Palestinians with 4,500 currently in detention. This is absolutely not the first act in this war.

Just double check those numbers.

Palestinians and their allies are understandably really, really pissed off about this.

It’s utterly devastating that Hamas won’t agree to a ceasefire that would prevent any more Palestinian children suffering like this. Unsurprisingly though given that they’re funded by a regime that executes its own people.

stormy4319trevor · 29/09/2024 21:56

There's an emerging humanitarian crisis in Lebanon. I can't see how posters expect people to be grateful for that.

converseandjeans · 29/09/2024 21:58

You won't get much support for this thought process. I am concerned by the support from the west for extremist groups in the Middle East. Hamas & Hezbollah are terror organisations & they don't align at all with western values - they are anti-gay & treat women abysmally. So I am baffled that so many women support what they stand for.

In most cases, on these threads, they are insulated & protected by the Western values that they so disdain. Queers for Palestine etc.

What ridiculous reasoning. You do realise that you are excusing the IDF shooting children in the head.. disgusting!

herecomesautumn · 29/09/2024 22:06

@Frontofgarden It's true though

If Hamas terrorists, plus the innocent Palestinians that spat on dead and dying Israelis and kept them hostage in their homes, would lay down arms and release the rest of the hostages, then further bloodshed could be avoided.

That's not disgusting, it's fact

How do you feel about women who think Hamas and the other terrorist groups are evil but also think that the current military action in Gaza is also evil?
