@keenforhelp feel free to ignore this question if you dont want to answer but im interested to know If this a mainstream view in Israel? That the warrant was issued on the basis of anti-semitism and not due to some of the extremely questionable ways in which Israel has conducted this war?

That’s not the feeling I get from other Israeli posters in mn , many of them have condemned Israel’s PMs actions.

The arrest is not whether you are terrorist or not it is whether you have committed war crimes.

Same way Putin is not a terrorist but he’s got the same arrest warrant

Thank you for sharing but I personally disagree. I think if the leader of any other country had carried out the war in the way Israel has, then the response would have been the same.
Infact I think it would have been issued a long long time ago.

I’m not going to be the one pointing at others posters or threads as you know because you’ve told other people before pointing at other threads goes against guidelines. But anyone that has been in these threads for a while gets familiar to usernames, whilst you might not agree with them on everything. You’ll agree on other things. I’ve seen Israel / Jewish posters saying they don’t agree with Israel’s way to handle this war.

Just saw future predicted France’s president has mentioned in the past that France should recognise Palestine. I know it’s too early on but @Auvergne63 do you think that’ll happen?

Yes it's suggested it was due to tactical voting to keep out the far right Le Pen party. They'll be weeks forming a government but at least it won't be far right.

I really hope so. I know that they will upheld the warrants ( if/when issued) against Netanyahu and Hamas.

It was but that's the way we vote. So very proud that we, as voters, have put aside our differences to unite against the far right.
