For anyone looking, here is a good example of someone claiming to be anti-Israel quickly showing that their sentiments are actually anti-Semitic.
The idea that Israelis are all descendant of Holocaust survivors is obviously absurd. Israelis are not all European 🙄 The idea that every Israeli is even Jewish is just 🤯 But when someone so clearly conflates Israel and Jews and says descendants of Holocaust survivors are committing genocide, it's just purely antisemitism. It's so ingrained that they don't even realise they're saying something anti-Semitic. And no doubt this poster will now be receiving support from other posters either saying the comment isn't anti-Semitic or saying "they actually meant XYZ" but in reality, this poster has made anti-Semitic comments. There is no excuse for it. No, Israel is not doing anything in the names of Holocaust survivors. No, it's not descendants of Holocaust survivors doing anything. You're making anti-Semitic comments. Hopefully you'll take this opportunity to learn and do better in the future.
And then obviously there's the biased and hateful wording about Israel "deciding to commence this onslaught during the remembrance weekend". That's not quite what happened, is it? Hamas fired rockets from Rafah the day before the remembrance day for Jewish Holocaust victims. Israel fired back at the launch site. Israel didn't choose the day or location. But I guess when someone hates those pesky descendants of Holocaust survivors this much, facts don't really matter.
No doubt my comment will be the one that gets deleted for hurting the other posters feelings by pointing out that they're making anti-Semitic comments, but facts are facts. Anti-Semitism shouldn't go unchallenged.
