It will cause more and more violence against Palestinians in the West Bank, more illegal settling and loss of Palestinians’ homes. A disaster for them. These people are illegal thugs and murderers.

PeasfullPerson · 20/06/2024 20:35

And it said it happened on the 29th of May.

The West Bank is also being punished for 7th October, over 500 Palestinians have been killed there since then, but because of the extreme Israeli actions in Gaza, it doesn’t seem to get as much attention.

How can anyone keep up with all this cruelty. There are some very grim human beings in the Israeli government.

CassieMaddox · 21/06/2024 08:46

I just came on to post that scirocco
It made me cry. Wtf are the Israeli government doing? How is this justified? Sad

PeasfullPerson · 21/06/2024 09:09

The cruelty of humans never ceases to amaze me. We haven’t learned very much.

PeasfullPerson · 21/06/2024 09:10

It can’t even be classed as an act of rage, there has been enough time to sit back, and reflect on what is being done here.

PeasfullPerson · 21/06/2024 09:11

Is this what the groups and people blocking aid want to see? Is this what they aimed for?

PeasfullPerson · 21/06/2024 09:12

Is this self defence?

It's just horrific. Struggling to come on these threads anymore, people are so busy defending their side they are blind to the unimaginable suffering of their fellow human beings. It is unconscionable

Agree. And the amount of hate speech that's deemed OK is frankly disturbing at this stage.

EasterIssland · 20/06/2024 17:32

This is just a more extreme version of apartheid in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.

ScrollingLeaves · 21/06/2024 19:32

Poor little boy and how needless. I am thinking that he and all the children like him should be airlifted out, and meanwhile thousands of bottles of water brought to that pier and guarded and distributed by some international force.

Think how many doctors and nurses, water and drugs just one American bomb or missile would buy.

Vittuunterroristit · 19/06/2024 22:13

Do some Putin shill found a handful of racist Israelis, cut some clips together for insta and is trying to claim all Israelis are like that. What's your point?

Yup @Vittuunterroristit so many people falling for AI, Photoshopped fake propaganda.

I didn't realise the video was proven to be fake. Can you link to a source for that?

Eyesopenwideawake · 21/04/2024 22:14

I've just watched the sickening sight of a child being pulled from the womb of her dead mother - murdered by the IDF. She survived, for now.

So, apologists, what was her crime? Go on, I dare you. 😡

It's so heartbreaking breaking to watch. But don't say that as there are some really hysterical blinkered responses I've seen on certain of these threads. Some people really can't cope with the fact that most people feel a Gazan baby's life is also precious.

PeasfullPerson · 21/06/2024 09:12

Is this self defence?

There is a whole debate as to whether it can be self defence at law since an occupying power cannot claim self-defence. Despite the physical withdrawal from Gaza, Israel controls it in every other meaningful way so many of the finest legal minds consider Israel an occupying power.

@ConnieCounter I don’t think the video was fake, but what
Vittuunterroristit · 19/06/2024 22:13
probably meant was that it was a compilation of remarks selected for their racism, and giving the impression that these remarks are typical of all Israelis, which is not true.

So, say the interviewer had come across an Israeli peace campaigner, or anyone with relatively moderate views, they simply would not have included them in the video, or would have edited them out later.

Or, maybe they went to interview people from a group they knew would most likely all have these views, like the people on the Flag day procession.

I'm really sorry to say I can't read these threads and be as involved in this as I'd like to be. I have a touch of post natal depression and I saw something that sent me absolutely spiralling.
This is one of the most evil crimes against people I think has ever occurred. It is up there with the holocaust. My great grandparents narrowly escaped the nazis and I hope my relatives would be disgusted by Israels actions, as am I with my very slight Jewish heritage.
Its truly dumbfounding how this is happening. My dp is a 6ft bearded, tattooed, shaven headed thug looking scouser and I caught him crying at footage over the last few months. Not sobs, full shaking with pure devastation and also rage. One wasn't as gruesome images as we'd seen, it was simply a wee boy shaking with shellshock and every instinct we have as adults to protect children is just destroyed when there isn't anything we can do.
I'm desperate to donate to a really good charity, I'm going to sell some of my nice bags on vinted and see what else I can do.
I've even entered competitions (so not something I do) with hope I'd be able to help financially.
If any of you have a good charity that isn't a ceo's holiday property being paid for, then please let me know.
And thank you @Eyesopenwideawake and everyone else who keeps these discussions going. When I'm less emotionally fragile I'll come chat with you more but right now I'm waiting for a wee bit more help with my pnd and I'll be back.
Solidarity and hope to all x

My husband is a bearded tattooed tough looking guy too and has also cried his heart out over all this and so has my father.

I will be writing Gaza all over my ballot. Those creeps are not getting my vote until they speak up about this

Collective punishment. Which is a war crime

ScrollingLeaves · 22/06/2024 21:27

29 minutes into the video linked below:

I just saw this investigative journalism report about the little 6 year old girl, Hind, and the murder of the ambulance drivers coming to rescue her as she was talking in the telephone to rescuers called by a relative just before they died.
We hear the recording of Hind talking.

Even though the ambulance drivers had telephoned the IDF for permission, taking 3 hours to get it, while Hind was bleeding in the car among her dead relatives all that time, the ambulance and medics were obliterated/incinerated just before getting to her. She died in the car all alone. It was a very long time before she was found.

Warning: it is upsetting beyond belief.

Israel denied they did it.

It is investigated by Forensic Architecture and Earshot.

The Night Won’t End’: Biden’s War on Gaza

From air strikes to field executions, Fault Lines investigates the killings of civilians by the Israeli military in Gaza and the role of the United States in the war.

As Israel’s bombing campaign continues in Gaza and the humanitarian crisis deepens to catastrophic levels, the Biden administration has not wavered in its support for Israel.

United States weapons transfers – from 2,000-pound bombs to artillery shells and tanks – have been a crucial part of the Israeli military campaign.

^Fault Lines worked with journalists in Gaza to profile three families as they try to survive the war.^

Together with Airwars, Fault Lines ^also investigated an air strike on December 11 in north Gaza in which more than 100 people from the same family were killed.
Numerous attacks on civilians – including that on Hind Rajab and her relatives in late January – have raised international concern and questions over continuing US support.

^Fault Lines partnered with Forensic Architecture and Earshot to investigate that attack.^*

I am sorry, I should have looked.
After just seeing it, far away and uninvolved though I am, it is so shocking.
