Let us hope it is change in the direction of Gallant’s view though, and not just a change leading to Gallant being got rid of.

Gallant’s comments provoked an immediate political row, with Netanyahu pushing back rapidly with a videotaped statement and a call from the far-right national security minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, for Gallant to be replaced.

Perhaps one day there will be Israelis in Gaza - under a Palestinian administration in line with their rules. Not like this.

Until there is a defined Government speaking up for Palestinians territories with defined borders and legal processes, the fanatics will take advantage of the grey areas to push their agenda.

I appreciate the Gazans are not in a position to do anything except survive at the moment and parts of the West Bank are locked down.

He is telling the world in perfect English, slowly and clearly there will be no two state solution, Palestinian occupation will continue, we know for a fact that the settlements will continue ….oh but these will only carry on once he’s killed as many innocent Palestinians as possible as collateral after killing embers of Hamas too.

No idea who that is, whether armed or not, could be anywhere or any date and anyone. The trouble with randem tweets from x there is no checking anything. So many tweeted and share that don't really establish anything 🤔

People are dying and random videos which are impossible to make out are a bit pointless really.

Yes, in the hearing today at the ICJ South Africa presented videos uploaded by IDF soldiers to their Social Media where the soldiers filmed themselves committing acts that could show genocidal intent/actions.

There are Telegram groups who are monitoring Social Media for similar videos, verifying them and then archiving content.

Images are from IDF drone footage and IDF soldier bodycams which will be time and date stamped and can be geo-located

None of the men appear armed - not carrying automatic weapons or any larger weaponry

I agree, that this footage could have been taken anywhere in any war zone, Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq as it is unverified.

Distasteful as it is, it doesn't prove anything.

I have watched the whole recording but have not seen any such submissions.

It's IDF bodycam footage - don't think there are any IDF foot soldiers in Syria Afghanistan or Iraq?

It's been proven to be in Gaza and can more than likely be pin-pointed exactly where in the territory

He's obviously proud his material has been used as evidence at ICJ

If it is IDF bodycam footage how is it in the hands of civilians?

I watched the whole hearing and saw no such evidence presented.

So which SA lawyer introduced it as evidence, and at what stage of the proceedings?
