Get off the thread if that's all you have to say. No room for antisemitism here.

Disgusting comment.

OP. Following for ideas. Our neighbours need our support

Parkertakemehome · 24/11/2023 17:41

Great idea. Unfortunately, such a lovely gesture is going to attract the trolls, who don't believe Jewish people have suffered. Sick I know. I, along with many millions of people will be donating to any cause to help the victims and their families of 7th October.

Nothing to do with you, as an antisemitist, where people direct their money.

Get off this thread.

Sussurations · 24/11/2023 17:46

How nice, the very first reply is antisemitic.

I was going to suggest that it would
be nice to buy both Israeli and Palestinian presents for Christmas.

Parkertakemehome · 24/11/2023 17:48

@Brumbies I'm hoping Jewish/Israel inspired Christmas cards will be available to show our support? I know many of my friends and associates would appreciate receiving one of those.

Great idea. We just need to post our sentiment on the ideas for Palestinians thread. I couldn't think about not acknowledging all the victims of this awful war.

Watching with interest. I would be really keen to show solidarity with Jewish businesses

I would advise everybody to ignore any more posts from this person. Their intent is perfectly clear.

Robinbuildsbears · 24/11/2023 17:56

Is anyone going to post any businesses to support?

Dilbertian · 24/11/2023 17:58

Sodastream. Not only is one of their main manufacturing plants in Israel, but company policy is to work for peace and equality between Israelis, Israeli Arabs and Palestinians.

Xenia · 24/11/2023 17:59

Standing up for the Iraeli cause, standing against anti semitism, not standing quietly by if you hear anything anti semitic, saying loud and clear we do not stand for anti semitism in the UK in any context, even the terrible examples recorded recently in some places of worship.

Thanks for that reference. Will go and take a look.

Where sells Jewish Christmas cards?

I don't know but I would like to think somebody has thought of an initiative of supporting victims of the conflict. Surely christmas time is the opportunity to promote peace. Just thinking out loud.

On a more general note I won't be boycotting businesses in alliance with Israel. On the contrary, they will be getting my support.

Do you really think there's much to laugh about, on this issue? 🤔

Ah yes perhaps some doves on charity cards. Just got to try and find them.

This link provides information about a number of different charities who are providing medical care, food, and shelter to those affected - both Israeli and Palestinian.
