I wasn’t telling anyone to do anything it’s just that people on this board will read new threads and probably comment on them from their particular angle as it were.

I did wonder whether the Jewish board would have less of that (and it probably would to be fair) and would be a better bet for those who don’t want Gaza mentioned.

I think most people would agree Hamas had committed war crimes. More and more people are becoming concerned the Israeli government are too. As for using buzzwords like genocide and ethnic cleansing- people are responding directly to what they see and read not only SM but also on the news and in papers. What would you call what is happening in Gaza? Collateral damage?

I would hope that this is not reflective of how most pro- peace people feel.
I can understand that wording of criticism against IDF’s actions in Gaza needs to be carefully worded so as to not suggest that all Israelis support what the IDF and the Israeli government are doing.
I also hope that people can see that criticising these actions is not necessarily antisemitic.

Tbh (and I’m not taking personal responsibility for this) probably not here. It does work the other way though.
Threads focused on the Palestinians situation will have people come on and say stuff like “oh but you know it was Hamas who bombed that hospital” or something like that because defending Israel is their priority. Like I said everyone has their angle. I’m not saying that’s right but that seems to be how it is.
