why does a mentally disabled child throwing stones deserve to be shot from 150 metres away ? The stones couldn’t have even reached them? They can’t possibly be fearing him, he is by himself, they are tons of them and they have cars and guns. How is this justifiable to all these people going on and on supporting a country where these things go on. How is this a country the west considers a democratic ally? How do these values reflect the values of the west?

I understand the outrage of parents wanting the hostages back but Fouads parents will never ever have him back.

Israeli forces launch massive arrest campaign in occupied West Bank
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Club says Israeli forces have arrested 90 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank since last night.
Among them were a woman from Tubas, and former prisoners. 36 of them were from the village of Azzun east of Qalqilya and al-Arroub refugee camp.
Since October 7, 3,130 Palestinians have been arrested in the occupied West Bank.

They are trying to clear the West Bank of Palestinians by either killing them or driving them out by serious violence. The government will then say "they left voluntarily". Ben Gvri (security minister) said the West Bank will become Jewish.

How is this a country the west considers a democratic ally? How do these values reflect the values of the west?

I saw this but seriously it’s like the world is up in arms about ceasefire now but actually it’s almost scary what will happen when the ceasefire actually happens with the current regime because that’s when the world eyes turn away and the even more intense oppression of Palestinians will restart in earnest. The voices of reason in Israel will be quashed.

They just shot and killed a 12 year old boy in West Bank. This is crazy. How can they just do that? This is even worse optically than Gaza. At least Gaza they pretend they are human shields. Here it’s just openly murdering children an the world is saying nothing. NOTHING!

This is why I get so annoyed when people say Hamas broke the ceasefire that was in place. There wasn’t one. There wasn’t a war in place but neither a ceasefire

Indeed, @notsoready4school . Incredibly deceptive. Hamas are asking their friends elsewhere to fight Israel on their behalf during the ceasefire. Luckily there's no Hamas in the West Bank so it won't be a problem, right?

Has Israel said it will stop rounding up and imprisoning civilians in the West Bank during the truce? Have armed settlers agreed to stop attacking people and throwing them off their land?

A different kind of violence in the West Bank tonight as Hamas (who supposedly are not in the WB) have executed two alleged "Israeli spies" and strung them up from electricity pylons in front of cheering crowds in the Town of Tulkurem.

@ItsRainingTacos79 I think it's very significant that Levy openly states this. It is basically saying that they will continue building settlements and do what they like in the WB, because it is now Israel. There's a disjunct between this open claim and western politicians talking about negotiating 2 state solutions and fair settlement. Any time a commentator suggests 2 states it needs to be said, this government has already taken the WB - they think it is theirs.
