why does a mentally disabled child throwing stones deserve to be shot from 150 metres away ? The stones couldn’t have even reached them? They can’t possibly be fearing him, he is by himself, they are tons of them and they have cars and guns. How is this justifiable to all these people going on and on supporting a country where these things go on. How is this a country the west considers a democratic ally? How do these values reflect the values of the west?

I understand the outrage of parents wanting the hostages back but Fouads parents will never ever have him back.

Thr settler violence needs to be dealt with by the IDF.

Hamas interference in the west bank so needs sorting.

And a fair arrest and trial of settlers who attack and harrass Palestinians. And all settlers to leave.

Ministers who incite settlers’ to also be indicted for their crimes.

Twitter has a translation option

Since 1967 until today, no such revolution has taken place in Judea and Samaria. I am now concluding an important tour of Judea and Samaria with my friends, Defense Minister Yisrael Katz, in which we closely followed the uncompromising struggle against illegal Arab construction and settlement development. During the tour, we visited many areas in Judea and Samaria, including the communities of Kerem Reim and Sde Ephraim, which were recently recognized by the government. The Israeli government is working to develop settlements in Judea and Samaria and will not allow the rampant illegal Arab construction that has become a scourge of the state in recent decades. Our government has recognized 28 new settlements since its establishment. In addition, there is increased enforcement in places that were not previously enforced, such as the 918 Fire Area Agreement Reserve and other areas. In the past year, the record for the demolition of illegal Arab construction in Judea and Samaria was broken, but at the same time, we understand that in order to win this campaign, additional strategic tools must be used that will lead to the desired revolution. The settlers are not second-class citizens. The government will insist that they be entitled to security like all Israeli citizens. Thank you very much for this translation I had missed seeing. It is so shocking.

(Haaretz brief)
ISRAEL: Far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said that in the coming months the government will move forward with plans to approve construction in the E1 area of the West Bank, a step that would effectively bisect the territory from east to west. "We're already working on it professionally,"Smotrich said at a settlement conference organized by Israeli right-wing newspaper Makor Rishon, adding that "this is how you kill the Palestinian state de facto. God willing, there'll be [Israeli] sovereignty [in the West Bank] during this term."
