Israel has bombed the gates of the Al Shalha hospital.

Everyone knows displaced families are sheltering in and near hospitals.

Everything they say and claim is unravelling before them. Must be extremely frustrating for them, which is why as each day goes the propaganda gets wilder. I sometimes wonder if amongst this there is some sort of sociological experiment to see how far their words and actions can contradict each other before people start pushing back

This afternoon there was a bizarre attempt to blame the UN for the fiasco at the hospital because they'd not co-operated when told to evacuate 2 weeks ago

EasterIssland · 12/11/2023 21:28

If you watch the video … the book looks brand new 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

Few days ago they said many unrwa members were Hamas so maybe that’s why they don’t cooperate. 🤦🏻‍♀️

@Xenia you might remember that the US also backed Israel when they said Hamas were inflating the casualty figures. A few days later they turned around and said actually we now think it's likely to be alot higher than the Hamas figures themselves

Unbelievable.

At least it takes the stress out of the next US election. I don't give a damn who wins because they're all scumbags.

Parkingt111 · 12/11/2023 21:38

@Efacsen I literally said it yesterday. That Israels next step will be to blame the UN and accuse them of being Hamas members too, seems to be going that way

Green777 · 12/11/2023 21:38

I find it just too sickening and sad to read posts from the pro IDF/Netanyahu apologists

Green777 · 12/11/2023 21:41

Still using Hamas as an excuse…sickening.

I've just read it now - the EU are backing the US on this, and Germany is disagreeing with a ceasefire at the current time.

They also confirm the IDFs attempt at fuel delivery.

Edited

They've signed up to mumsnet and are stealing your ideas!!!

Be verrry careful what you suggest in future

Parkingt111 · 12/11/2023 21:55

@SomeCatFromJapan the EU are backing the US that Hamas declined fuel or on a ceasefire?
And ofcourse the same US who did a full 180 after downplaying the casualty figures with Israel

Parkingt111 · 12/11/2023 21:55

Sky news

Hamas denies refusing fuel from Israel for al Shifa hospitalThe Palestinian militant group has denied claims from Israel that it prevented fuel being given to Gaza's largest hospital.
Israel earlier said it had tried to provide fuel for al Shifa hospital and had left canisters at the entrance.
It said Hamas had stopped the hospital from receiving the fuel, despite al Shifa being desperately short of supplies.
Hamas has now released a statement saying it did not refuse any amount of fuel intended for medical use.
It said it is not associated with al Shifa hospital in any way and the centre is under the authority of the Palestinian health ministry.
However, it added the 300 litres Israel said it had provided "belittles the sick and wounded" as it is only enough to last for 30 minutes.

Green777 · 12/11/2023 21:56

@SomeCatFromJapan

Thats hardly a surprise is it? We are all fully aware of the Western support for Israel and their interests in doing so.

Germany are trying to get humanitarian aid through as are many other countries.

The amount of aid isn’t cutting it, the situation is absolutely dire. The aid getting through are, as in the words of Macron, a ‘crumb’.

I'm glad Macron has called for a ceasefire, but I wonder why so few others in the EU are joining him. Is he the only one with any moral conscience?

Green777 · 12/11/2023 22:01

@Parkingt111

Israel will always be believed and they know that. No one will believe Hamas, because they’re terrorists, even if they’re telling the truth about this.

Hamas has stopped negotiating hostage releases due to the hospital being surrounded, not that Netanyahu cares.

Trying to mitigate what they’ve done with the hospital with 30 minutes worth of fuel would be a slap in the face anyway.

SomeCatFromJapan · 12/11/2023 22:02

I used to be far more inclined to believe Hamas. After what they did in October, that makes me feel very foolish.

So let me get this straight..... Israel won't allow fuel into Gaza because they don't want Hamas getting their hands on it but they offered to supply the hospital they claim is the centre of Hamas operations with fuel. Someone needs to make that make sense.

We invaded Afghanistan because we were told Osama Bin Laden was hiding there, we found him a mere ten years later in Pakistan.

We invaded Iraq in 2003 because Sadam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction, we all know how that turned out.

And then in 2011 we attacked Libya because we claimed Gaddafi had committed crimes against humanity by attacking civilians in the first Libyan civil war.

When the hospital director him/herself tells me they refused fuel, I'll believe it.

Green777 · 12/11/2023 22:04

@SomeCatFromJapan

Thank you for proving my point so succinctly.

I never believed in corrupt Netanyahu and his quest for ethnic cleansing and don’t believe him now either. He and the IDF have all the power to say anything they like, that’s why they’re shutting off communications I’m Gaza, so their word is swallowed whole by people like you.

Presumably now that they're on the ground near the hospital they can ensure the fuel is used appropriately, as opposed to it being allowed into Gaza unsupervised?

Green777 · 12/11/2023 22:06

@FOJN

Very well said.

The reasoning from apologists is getting truly desperate and bizarre.
