But it’s not about the pound of flesh is it? The Israeli government isn’t killing Palestinians in retaliation- it’s killing Hamas operatives who use Palestinians as human shields, which is terrible.

All this destruction in Gaza, all of it- is down to Hamas using human shields. Stop using civilians as cover, stop using civilian infrastructure as concealment- civilians won’t die. It was a terrible and brutal attack- now unfortunately Hamas are causing even more grief.

Nobody believes the "Israel are just doing it to kill Hamas" now. You don't need to be an intelligent person to work that out. If one of the most powerful, technologically advanced armies in the world needs to kill 10k+ people, more than half of them women and children, in order to wipe out Hamas commanders, then US should cut their funding, as they are doing an atrocious job. Yes. You are correct- if not for Hamas, then Israel would not be launching strikes at Hamas where they hide in mosques, hospitals, schools and any other civilian infrastructure they can conceal themselves with.

Hamas are a terrorist, guerrilla force. Look at the damage inflicted by The Taliban against a vastly superior force (the US+ allies) that concealed themselves in the civilian population. Hamas are brutal, dangerous and utterly without scruples about sacrificing any and every Palestinian life they can. And it is clear that for Hamas, the more dead Palestinians the better (it suits their propaganda war, which is why they’ve closed off the evacuation routes)- that’s why they’re not following up on their “brave” attack. Because they know, in an open field battle they would get steamrolled. So they hide behind human shields. That’s how it works. That’s guerrilla tactics.

Hamas built tunnels and certainly not to be cooler in hot summers but for nefarious purposes. Israel warned on about 8 Nov that people should leave the North. It has continued to give warnings including paper drops as they know comms are cut.

I know there are some Palestinian supporters in the UK but plenty of people support Israel. if someone invaded the UK and killed 1400 people and slit the throats of babies in Kent we would do whatever it took to protect our nation including what we did in WII. We may seem like a sleeping giant in the West but we roar very hard if there are threats to our citizens and Israel is entitled to do the same. Hopefully the Hamas theat can be reduced and some good will come out of the Hamas terrorist killings. We should also be looking very carefully at whether particularly in London we have given sanctuary to Hamas terrorists.

We can hardly treat the patients within the hospital and are in the middle of the war zone. There are continuous airstrikes and the drones are hovering within the hospital area.

Day before yesterday at about 2am, the electricity stopped because of some issues. The engineer who went to try to fix that was shot by a drone and injured in his neck. Four of his limbs are paralysed.

I saw a family of five in front of my eyes who tried to move from the east yesterday and they were shot. So they came back injured.

The Israelis also called the hospital director the day before yesterday ordering us to evacuate. He asked them to help arrange a way to evacuate the patients. They didn’t have a plan.

It just gets worse and worse. Its clear that the lives of the Palestinians are worth less to some than others
