Israel has bombed the gates of the Al Shalha hospital.

Everyone knows displaced families are sheltering in and near hospitals.

@HaveALaff yeah I understand that

Just makes me angry that it's still going on. There's never a clear cut reason. And when they say they have proof of hamas in hospitals its just a photo woth buildings highlighted in red. And people are nodding going ahhh ok.

I never used to be a conspiracy theorist but when they say the modern education system is designed to keep us in line and not think for ourselves... I'm starting to understand why they think this now!

Readingallnight · 11/11/2023 23:05

Every moving person being targeted.
Maintenance people trying to get a generator to work at one of the hospitals were shot at as they left the hospital along with locals trying to escape.
Every moving thing is shot at, they are not just looking for Hamas here
They are not protecting civilians
They are killing everyone

Sunaks speech after todays march was a bunch of lies.
Trying to change history, to justify the UKs support for genocide.

Fairtobefairohhhhhc · 11/11/2023 23:08

I didn't watch sunaks speech. Couldn't stomach his vile words.

Parkingt111 · 11/11/2023 23:12

@Humdingerydoo I should add that my own daughter spent a long time in ICU as a baby. When I heard today that a baby died in the hospital because the fuel generator was bombed which meant the incubators and equipment stopped working, my heart shattered
Spending days not knowing if my baby was going to survive or not despite receiving the best care she could get was absolutely traumatising.
To think what the parents must be going through right now whose babies have died or will likely die a preventable cruel death has broken me

Honestly I cried.
How can someone lie about everything.
Its as if he didn’t see anything that happened today.
Utter lies.
Along with the bunch of idiots on another MN thread about Braverman and the march
Propaganda and lies….I feel sick that we re seeing it in real time.

So sorry it has brought back these very sad memories.
thinking of you and all mothers in pain

Parkingt111 · 11/11/2023 23:01

@Humdingerydoo it's fine you can ask.
And no it wouldn't change, I don't believe there is any justification for bombing a hospital that has civilians who are unable to leave or defend themselves. Whether that is in Palestine or any other country in the world.
It goes against every fibre of any morality I have

Also you don't have to answer this either and also a hypothetical question. I pray to God that you and your family are never in such a situation and are always safe and protected but if hypothetically you and your family were in Al shifa hospital and unable to leave ,would you say its OK for the IDF to bomb or shoot at the hospital because a Hamas base may potentially be there? For the perceived 'greater good'
Also not goady and if you choose not to answer then that's totally cool

Edited

I guess the issue is that if Israel is shown to be right, it's a case of "either we get rid of Hamas and their infrastructure now or it'll be our hospital /school/nursery/nightclub next". I can assure you Hamas won't be making any attempts at evacuating anyone beforehand like Israel has tried. And I know they don't exactly have many options of places to evacuate to. I know that. I'm just not sure what Israel can do about it. I genuinely feel sick thinking about Palestinian parents having to try and decide what to do in these situations, whether they should stay or go. Trying to decide which way their children are less likely to die. It's horrific.

Anyway, it's as I suspected. It doesn't matter what the outcome is of this war, Israel is going to be the sole bad guy in public opinion regardless. They've already lost.

And no, of course I wouldn't want my own family sacrificed for the greater good. But then I also wouldn't want to live under a terrorist regime either so really not sure what I'd do. I can't even begin to imagine any of it, it's too insane.

I realise you probably don't believe this, but I share your heartbreak for those tiny little lives that will be lost. They all deserve so much better. There's nothing else I can really say about it, it's utterly heartbreaking.

Parkingt111 · 11/11/2023 23:31

@Humdingerydoo thank you for answering and acknowledging that it's not a black and white scenario.
Yes insane is definitely one way to describe it. Also thank you for showing empathy for the palestinian parents

Parkingt111 · 11/11/2023 23:36

@Humdingerydoo it's a cruel world isn't it. But I do appreciate your words of empathy for the Palestinians. I really do.
I wish for a better world where everyone can live side by side in peace
Hopefully one day 🙏

I'm sorry but George Galloway? Really? Doesn't he support both Hamas and Hezbollah?

Fairtobefairohhhhhc · 12/11/2023 00:39

Don't know, and I don't really care if he does right now. @Humdingerydoo

I think maybe you should care... He's not exactly a reliable source of information. Plus, you know, actively supports terrorists. You're not going to be helping your cause by quoting and praising George Galloway. He's pro-Hamas, not pro-Palestinian.

Maybe read up on him a little

Ok fine. You only need too Google and many news pages come up confirming what he said. Is that better?

I don't care if he supports x, y or z. What he said on that post is correct.

I also don't need to help my cause. If people can't see what us happening because they are blinded by Israeli and US propaganda, nothing I say or anyone will say will make them understand.

Fairtobefairohhhhhc · 12/11/2023 01:05

I'm watching the news now. 37 premature babies who are reliant on oxygen and temperature control are all bundled on one bed because there is no electricity. 2 of those babies have now died due to lack of oxygen.

So I couldn't give a flying monkeys if someone supports hamas or the flipping flying spaghetti monster. If they say something right, then they have said something right.

It doesn't confirm what he said at all.

Rape claims have not been dropped.
Forensics teams still say more than one baby.

Most dead were civilians ( see Haaretz and below.)
The vast majority of survivor statements say Hamas was responsible AND Hamas videoed much of it.

He's a Hamas and Hezbollah supporter.

👏

You are spreading misinformation whilst calling out Israel for their propaganda, yet ignoring the propaganda that is coming from Hamas. I wonder if you even care about any of this or if it is just a game to you? You are causing more harm than good.

@cheleuh you also posted on another thread that Palestinians where victims of hamas not Israel..... that's not really true is it.

Readingallnight · 12/11/2023 02:24

The Times Of Israel reported themselves that Israel has not checked for evidence of rape on the victims.
Heres a snippet of the article dated 9th November.

Israeli doctors have confirmed they will not be collecting evidence of rape
The Israel govn for some reason are not following up on aparent witness statements
No video footage indicates rape.

See Times of Israel article for more info.

It is the lack of follow through from Israel that is causing people and the international community as a whole to not believe the claims.
If it’s true, Israel needs to prove it.
But they aren’t and don’t seem to want to.

@Humdingerydoo I've seen various reports of Hamas stopping civilians from evacuating over the last few days/couple of weeks, including footage of them shooting civilians and detonating a roadside IDE and audio recordings between IDF operativies and people on the ground in Gaza.
Obviously there's no way to verify how true any of this is but it seems to be a consistent pattern.

Some quite interesting stuff on the Gaza Report twitter/x account.

I've seen various reports of IDF stopping civilians from evacuating over the last few days/couple of weeks, including footage of them shooting civilians and blowing up all civillian places and audio recordings between IDF operativies in Gaza and the Israeli government.

Obviously this is already verified but the worst of it yet to be known as they have locked Gaza down but it seems to be a consistent pattern.
