Israel has bombed the gates of the Al Shalha hospital.

Everyone knows displaced families are sheltering in and near hospitals.

Yes they are aren't they. If they would release the hostages, lay down their arms and stop hiding behind the innocent, this would all be over by tomorrow.

Exactly! If they release all the Palestinian children from Israeli prisons, illegal settlers stop stealing land and homes, IDF stop arresting innocent Palestinians in West Bank for no reason then post mocking videos on social media then this would be over. Why can’t the Israeli people just buy their own homes like everyone else. Why do they keep stealing?

I’m sorry but I don’t believe a single word that idf says. All their evidences in the past few weeks have been proof to be false or doubtful

out of 11k people death only 60 have belonged to Hamas. So 0.5%. Which means every time they say “we are firing because there is someone from Hamas there” it’s mostly a lie

I didn't realise they weren't even targeting Hamas at all. That's horrendous. ... 60 out of 11,000 belonged to Hamas. So 99.5% of deaths are "collateral damage" ... Disgusting.

Well it makes sense, most of the infrastructure they are bombing are important sites for civilisation to survive.

And the kind of 'verified reports' that the BBC are relying on are coming from people like Mr FAFO, who seems to have made a few miraculous recoveries in the last few weeks, as well as weirdly being present at a disproportionate number of 'atrocities'. 🙄

The BBC did show footage from one of his videos but tbf is did show the after affects of one of the bombings.

Yeah the video with tomato sauce all over people's faces and medics in the background clearly giggling and trying to hide their faces... 🙄

They are targeting this journalist to fake that he is part of Hamas. I have seen many AI generated images of him on fake Israeli accounts. You can search the name the poster gave to see the awful lies they are spreading about him.

Interestingly that article I just linked notes how as Palestinian civilians are attempting to flee Hamas are forcing them to return. Hamas shooting Palestinian civilians also. Except they’re meant to be on the same side…

“The audio is just one of numerous pieces of alleged evidence released by the IDF”

from your link. Sorry but I need something more independent than IDF sources. Also I saw a video yesterday where idf has taken a Palestinian hostage and using him as a shield as well. Seems like they also do it

Sugaristheenemy · 11/11/2023 08:10

Er..no I’m thinking of the one one where he’s running through a crowd of panicking /injured people

TakeMe2Insanity · 11/11/2023 08:11

Look theres a thread about journalists and this one is about bombing hospitals. Stick with the theme people. Theres plenty of verifications of journalists on that thread.

Hope you don’t mean this one. It’s from a Lebanese movie that Israel is trying to say it’s Palestine

What evidence is there to support these figures? Where do the figures come from?

No child should be dying in this conflict but if your government starts a war by invading and murdering over 1400 citizens, including children, of a neighbouring country and taking hundreds hostage, again including children, unfortunately this happens.

Do you think the disparity in the figures (unconfirmed independently obviously) might be because children are used as human shields in Gaza and government terrorist bases are placed in/next to schools and hospitals?

That despite constantly firing rockets at Israel even before Oct 7th, the Palestinian government didn’t bother to build bomb shelters for its civilians like Israel had to (and had to create the dome) but built 300 miles of underground tunnels for it’s terrorists to hide in and smuggle weapons through instead.

They put the children in harms way specifically to try to prevent Israel from retaliating to attacks and to create global outcry so they can carry on attacking Israel. How fucked up is that?

It’s been documented for many years.

Does this happen in Syria, Afghanistan or Yemen do you think? Incomparable really.

You can say what you want. What is happening is plain to see. ILLEGAL Israeli settlers have been stealing land and homes for decades. IDF have been arresting innocent civilians for decades. West Bank Palestinians cannot live in peace.
IT IS THE MOST DENSELY POPULATED AREA IN THE WORLD. they can’t get in or out without permission. No one is hiding behind anyone. They have no space. Israel has locked them into a concentration camp with no water or food and is carpet bombing them. How anyone can justify this is beyond me. If Israel really wanted to find Hamas they would use the most advanced surveillance and spy equipment they have.

ColonelDax · 11/11/2023 08:14

It's worth noting that nobody is denying that civilians are dying, certainly not the IDF.

That's what happens when you turn hospitals and schools into military objects I'm afraid.

Blame Hamas, not Israel.

Are you as annoyed with Egypt? Just asking as Gaza shares a land border with them as well.

Difficult to be responsible for 'locking someone in' when you don't even own the whole fence...

Talk me through what that looks like please?

How would they then target those Hamas operatives when they locate themselves inside hospitals, schools and residential areas?

Where do you get this stuff from? The Ladybird Book of Military Operations?

"After bombing Gaza for 36 days and killing more than 11,000 Palestinians Israel has yet to achieve a single military objective - unless of course the “military objective” is to kill, traumatize and inflict as much damage as possible."

How does Ms Battu know what Israel's military objectives are, or if they have achieved them?

The news this morning:

Shifa hospital is now under siege, despite Israel failing to provide evidence of Hamas presence says UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (who was denied entry into Israel)

Israel has surrounded Shifa hospital and has started firing.
-1 nurse attended babies in NICU has been shot dead
-a hospital engineer shot dead whilst walking across hospital conpound
-the hospital has been out of power for 7 hours, 1 baby has died so far due to lack of ventilation. The rest are expected to die soon
-renal patients "will die imminently" due to no power for dialysis
-Israel has said the hospital "may lose its protected status" despite not providing any evidence that Hamas are within/under hospital
-no functioning mortuary in hospital due to power cut, dead bodies just piled up. A mass grave will need to be dug in hospital compound.
-Intensive care unit caught fire yesterday due to shelling
-No chance to evacuate 1000s sheltering/patients in the hospital

Efacsen · 11/11/2023 08:32

Al Jazeera has spoken to Muhammad Abu Salmiya, the al-Shifa Hospital director, from inside the facility.
He said:
All I can say is that we’ve started to lose lives. Patients are dying by the minute, victims and wounded are also dying – even babies in the incubators.

We lost a baby in the incubator, we also lost a young man in the intensive care unit.

The hospital compound is cordoned off and the buildings of the hospital are targeted. Any moving person within the compound is targeted. The Israeli occupation forces are outside, preventing any person to move .He added that the hospital, located in Gaza city, has been left without power, internet and water and medical supplies.

Another hospital targeted yesterday was the Indonesian one yesterday

ps as tempting to proof many Israel related lies as it’s id prefer if this thread was focused on what is going on in hospitals. Sadly I’ve been in threads which have ended up derailed and hate attacks thrown and mn has decided to take the thread down. It’d be a shame not being able to have a place to speak about what is happening in gazan hospitals

This must be the 5th time in 3 weeks they have run out of power and food. Weird.

Maybe if the Hamas fighters shooting out of it surrendered the IDF could mark it clear and then move on to the next objective?

Just a thought.

That was lucky.

Wasn't the blockade of Gaza stopping all fuel getting in though? How did this 'private market' get hold of the large quantities of fuel needed to run hospital generators 24/7?

Who runs this 'private market'?

I don't know I heard it on the news. Might have been in relation to the south though. Maybe not the north.

The article you linked mentions an audio recording released by the IDF who claim it is evidence that Hamas are preventing civilians leaving. It would be more convincing if the IDF weren't bombing Khan Yunis and there wasn't ample evidence of the IDF launching attacks on civilians trying to leave on the routes identified as safe by the IDF.

Apart from a few comments about from the UN about what they found after fighting in 2014 almost all of that article is Israel/the IDF says.

Trigger warning

Killing children at a cancer hospital. Babies in NICU.

Over the past 24-hours, medical care at Al-Rantisi and Al-Nasr children’s hospitals has reportedly almost ceased, with only a small generator powering the intensive care and neonatal intensive care units. Intense attacks and hostilities are reported near Al-Rantisi hospital, where there are reportedly children on dialysis and in intensive care.
